The food and service were very good. I visit often but the washroom is at the point of disrepair and lack of cleanliness that I will not eat there again. It’s unfortunate!!

Have been to previous incarnations of Montana's for decades, from late-night bar visits to graduation celebrations, holiday buffets, post-boating soirees, and as a convenient dining spot when staying at the nearby Delta Hotel.
Would like to commend and recommend Montana's for excellent dining experiences in October 2025. The food was meticulously prepared, delicious, and reasonably priced. The riverside views are a boat-watching paradise. Sports on the big screens are much appreciated. The booths have privacy screens which create Oasis of private conversational tranquility.
Our servers were Lily and Abby, both personable, friendly and professional hostesses who created a welcoming atmosphere. They guided members of our parties through the complexities of the menu and created solutions which satisfied the most discerning palettes. Their enthusiasm was contagious and they conversed with clients about academic and travel topics. Their smiles lit up the restaurant and brightened our days.
We remarked that Montana's has become a marquee destination in SSM.

My sister and I wanted to take a tiny trip to Canada since we are in the U.P. We decided to eat here because it was the closest restaurant to the Casino we were at. They were extremely busy because there was a concert going on, but that did not prevent our server from being very attentive and extremely personable! We split the pitmasters combo and the Mac and Cheese with burnt ends! It was great! They also made Moctails since I didn’t want to drink.

Went for lunch, couldn't sit on the patio because of hornets - no problem! Server sat us in a booth, told us another server would be right with us. Sat there for 10 minutes watching this server doing everything except come to our table. Walked by twice without any acknowledgement. We decided to leave and nobody even noticed.
Our waiter was very attentive and very friendly. There were multiple TV’s with sports on to watch. I had the southern chicken sandwich which was delicious but not quite filling. But I would definitely return, highly recommended.

Upon arriving we weren't sure what to expect. Once we got in we were pleasantly surprised of how nice and clean the restaurant was. Good customer service. A lot on the menu. The brisket ends were delicious. Great place to start our first night in Sault Ste. Marie. I would definitely recommend this place.

Our server was horrible, we couldn’t order or pay fast enough and as we were telling her what we wanted she kept looking over her shoulder as if she was wanting or looking for something more interesting happening. We had to ask for wet wipes after we ate. The food was good, service was horrible
