Stopped by right before the dinner rush, and were very grateful to be squeezed in without a reservation! My dad and I tried the Bao Buns for the first time and they were AMAZING! Light, fluffy, and perfectly delicious. Service was prompt and professional our waitress was amazing. I just moved here for college and I’ll be back again to try more on the menu, found my perfect lunch spot.💯🔥

When you're paying downtown Vancouver/Toronto prices for food in a place like Sault Ste Marie, you would hope the food can justify the cost.

In this instance– it did not, and neither did the service.

If you're transiting through the Soo like our party was, avoid this place. You're better off spending your hard earned dollar at an A&W down the road.

The most underwhelming restaurant during our cross-Canada road trip.

As someone who loves food and eats out all the time when I travel, I was extremely disappointed. At the high prices offered by this restaurant, I expected better tasting food. It was way over priced for the portion size and the flavours. For $28, they serve under-seasoned rice noodles without any protein—I wouldn't even call it Pad Thai. All proteins cost at least $6. For $18, you get 4 small, under fried spring rolls. While we weren't expecting Vancouver or Toronto level Asian food, we also weren't expecting Vancouver or Toronto prices with such low quality.

Additionally, service was very below average—even with 2 tables at the restaurant (including us), we needed to continually ask for service (like water, extra spices etc.). She also brought the food out of order and even forgot one of the appitizers.

If the food and service were better that might justify the prices, but as of right now, we would discourage anyone from visiting.

We've had amazing dinner at the Peace Restaurant, perfect finish to a long day of driving. Highly recommend taking a Pad Thai and a cocktail or two
Will be back to try other dishes on the menu next time we are driving by SOO

Overall a great restaurant. We were visiting Soo on the US side, but saw this on the maps Canadian side and it looked so appetizing we went over. The staff was quite accommodating to us. Wait staff and bar staff were quite kind and fun to chat with. I got some bao buns which were delicious! The ingredients and food are prepared with care and it shows. This is an easy recommendation if you are looking for a nice place for dinner. Have a reservation to make sure you don't have any hiccups (they do accept walk-ins but ymmv if it's a really busy night. Our party lucked out because by the time we left it was really busy).

My friends and I had a great time at your restaurant. Abby, our server was lovely, and also told us she was new.

Surprisingly when the bills were brought to our table, there were price discrepancies. Specific to pad thai. The menu states $24 for the dish, yet the 3 out of 5 of us were charged $28. 2 of those dishes had additional proteins. I mentioned that the price for pad thai (sans proteins) was $24. Abby then said for us to check the menu (QR code provided) which said $24 not $28. She then went to a supervisor who said that we in fact, were wrong.

Though I want this to be a simple error, we weren't pointed in the direction of a solution. Instead, were told that we were wrong and the menu needs to be updated on your end.

The bartender has style! And he made our night! Very friendly, efficient, and helpful.

Vegan and vegetarian items on menu which was really awesome to see. The bartender also happily answered questions we had on the menu.

They also had a great selection of mocktails/Zero Proof drinks! The watermelon spritz mocktail was beautifully served, with a sugar rim and a cute garnish.

We had no reservation but were able to be seated at the bar right away, ymmv.

Cool vibe and decor. The bao buns were a little expensive I thought as where I’m located they are usually $5-7 per bun and here they are $12-13. But I’m not even mad about it because the service, other menu items, the bartender, and the general upbeat vibe makes up for it.

We were greeted by the host in an uncomfortable manner. We are traveling so we did not have a reservation. This apparently was an issue for the host. The situation could have been handled much smoother if they had offered us seats at the bar instead of making us feel awkward by walking away to whisper to another adult and then offering us bar seats.
The mixologist saved the day. Excellent service! Fantastic drinks! Excellent demeanor.
The chef came to verify something about our orders. The food was very good. The protein was light for the price but well presented and very tasty.

Dang the food is great here!! I came here with my Mom and we shared a sushi roll and the special. It was fantastic. I had to take pictures and it tastes as good as it looks. The atmosphere is trendy here and there are good looking people everywhere you turn. We ate outside on the patio. It was the perfect day for it. I recommend you get the menu on your phone because the paper ones don’t want to stay on the table if there’s any wind. It’s a great little place to stop for a bite in the Soo!!

Attended last night for small bites and drinks. The staff were lovely, but both food and drinks were not enjoyable. When we complained after only taking a few sips (drinks were 90% full) we were told we would have to pay for drinks if we wanted them remade as a house policy, otherwise people would be sending them back all the time. I was very disappointed in this response, if something is not enjoyable it should be remade at no cost to the costumer, it is not my problem if others are sending back drinks often (maybe the drink recipe should be reconsidered if that is the case). After the response to the drink complaints we didn’t even bother to complain about the food, which was equally unpleasant.
