Excellent Beef stew with tasty broth and flavorful and generous portions of beef brisket.

Ordered a rare beef pho to go. $20 and you certainly don't get the large portion. Broth was mediocre. Probably won't revisit.

Really cute little restaurant with living room vibes. I think I had the best vegetarian spring rolls ever, and the veggie pho was super tasty as well! Very friendly service.
The items on the menu seem a bit pricey at first, but the portion sizes are huge in my opinion. Would definitely recommend!

Our very first Vietnamese culinary experience & we loved it. The service was very nice & a very cozy home setting. We tried the Vegetarian spring rolls, Pho Vegetable, Vietnamese iced coffee & sugarcane juice. Each dish was very tasty & they kindly customised it to our spice level. Very delicious food & we would visit again!

Vietnamese spring rolls in Taiwan will provide lettuce, but this restaurant does not. The spring rolls are made with taro meat fillings that are relatively well-made.
The soup of the signature pho is okay, but the portion is a bit small.

We had take out for lunch during an event in town. As someone who lives in Toronto who got access to a variety of Viet and asian food, Pho Max's food is very good quality and authentic. The wonton soup with noodles portion was very generous. I would return!

The food here is so good. Every time I think about it I just start craving it. I wish it was on the American side so I could order it a lot more. Would highly recommend.

Very solid Vietnamese food. The pho has good depth of flavor, the Thai fried rice blends spice with pineapple very well would definitely recommend. For Sault ste. Marie this is some of the best Asian food. We mostly get takeout, the interior of the restaurant isn't too special, and the service was alright, nothing to really complain about .

This was a cozy little Vietnamese restaurant set in a converted house. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. The spring rolls were fresh and delicious, and the pho was hearty and full of great flavor. My friends and I were very happy with our meal. Plenty of herbs and toppings were given to doctor up the pho however you like. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant if you have a hankering for Vietnamese.
