The tarts are sold individually and you don't have to purchase six at a time as another reviewer said. We strolled in and bought three.

This amazing place is not to be missed. They have a wide variety of fun flavours and classic butter tarts. If you want to try something new, I recommend the Nanaimo bar butter tarts!

You can not buy individual tarts. You can only buy 6 minimum at one time. This was very inconvenient being I was the only person in my party who wanted a butter tart. I can’t eat 6 tarts but had to buy 6 to eat 1. Nanaimo butter tart was the best. They also have hot and cold coffee drinks available.

My husband and I crossed the border into Canada specifically for these tarts. The service was wonderful with the gentleman explaining the flavor of each tart to us. In addition, he gave some history and told us about various "tart" competitions, some of which The Queens Tarts has won. They are flaky, oh so flaky and sweet, but not cloyingly so. Every bite was perfect! We bought a dozen and I wish I had a dozen more!!!
