Everything about this experience was above and beyond. The cocktails were perfect, the service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was beautiful and well prepared. The only complaint at all was the broccolini needed a steak knife to cut it - crisp is one thing, but this was a demerit, albeit small. The setting overlooking the water at sunset was a perfect end to the day.

I was disappointed to see that there were no longer vegan choices on the menu. There used to be some excellent vegan food before along with all other options. They also no longer put bread on the table. My husband loved his fish. Presentation was well done. Service was good but a little too slow. It is still a good restaurant but it used to be different. I like the view and the atmosphere. The wine selection is good.

Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed crab cakes and scallops for appetizers which were cooked to perfection. We both had the blackened tuna; each serving was very generous. It was a wonderful evening with excellent food.
Made reservation to have our 2024 Wedding Anniversary dinner here at View in the Delta Hotel. We were greeted immediately with a verbal "Happy Anniversary" by both the Hostess who seated us and our Waitress. One issue with NY cut steak being undercooked in part of the cut (which they quickly rectified once it was brought to their attention), the rest of the meal was superb! High quality ingredients, we started with the grain service for appetiser. Husband had the NY cut steak and I had the cedar planked salmon. Chef was able to accomodate a finicky palate and substitute the mashed potatoes of the day with a baked potato, so that was very appreciated. Both of us were full when dinner was done, but I still wanted to try the Raspberry Rum Cake for dessert. The ONLY thing I was a little disappointed about was (after seeing many other online dining reviews for this restaurant of patrons getting "Happy Anniversary" written on their dessert plate) our dessert plate, while very pretty and elegantly presented, did not have anything personalised, just the circles of the different flavours. I was actually more than a little bummed out, given that they knew it was a celebration and we chose this restaurant to dine at for this annual occasion (booked nearly 2 weeks in advance). That tiny detail that was overlooked by Service could have edged our review to a full 5 stars, in spite of the undercooked steak husband had to wait on while I was finishing off my meal (were we specifically supposed to request the greeting on our dessert plate, even though others stated they were surprised by Service?). Still, a decent meal both in taste and portion size meal. And the cake was delicious, too, by the way.
Great place, best escargot I ever had, crab cakes were good. My cedar planked salmon was incredible and my partner's blackened tuna was very good as well. They gave us a chocolate cake with two sauces to help celebrate Michele's birthday. We will be returning!
Took my mother in law for Mother's Day. Chicken dry and not hot ,potatoes cold, salmon dry and not hot. Couldn't even melt butter on potatoes. Waitress asked but left it alone not to upset my 93 year old mother in law but very disappointing. Eat here often, as we stay at hotel, but will be rethinking my next meal

Our Anniversary was wonderful. We had food restrictions that they went above and beyond to meet and exceed. Then we were gifted two amazing desserts, which they wrote Happy Anniversary in drizzled chocolate on.

The food here is top notch, excellent drink options and exceptional view of the riverfront but plan for a 2-3 hour dinner, it was not busy at all when my wife and I arrived, yet it took roughly 20 minutes to take our drink order then another 30 minutes to bring us the drinks. The food came quickly and was prepared well. Wait staff is very slow and asked a table of 30 and 40 year olds for identification when my wife ordered a alcohol beverage, flattering, but unprofessional approach. For the price per plate, theres a lot better options in town.

The plank salmon was delicious. I'd highly recommend it. The deserts were fabulous too. Crème brûlée and cannoli. It was our anniversary and the pastry chef wrote on the plate with Belgium chocolate. Everyone was very attentive. I'd recommend this restaurant with its great staff and wonderful view.
Food was excellent and the view was fantastic. Our server helped us order and we weren't disappointed. Please look into repairing the seating as some of your furniture is looking worn....... Our seats had a duct tape repair. I found the carpet underneath the table to be in need of a vacuum job as well and actually found a little shard of glass which i picked up and put in the garbage. The meal was excellent. Thank you very much.

Had supper on a late night and was very good, fast service, very kind, good local beer.Gone back for breakfast and was also very good. Great view out the windows also!

Haven't eaten at The View in years! What a fabulous experience! The food was excellent and portions generous. I had the spinach salad and my husband had the chicken. Kudos to the Chef! So happy to learn that Chef Annette is still at the helm! Our server, Julie, was excellent! Very warm, friendly and welcoming! Will definately be back at some point!!

We ordered a salad to share. They brought the salad and an extra plate and let us split it whatever way we wanted to. Dinner we had Salmon on a cedar plank. For dessert we shared a piece of chocolate cake that they make in house. The nice thing was they precut the cake and dressed up both plates nicely for us to eat. It was a good sized piece to eat for each person, portion wise
