10 out of 10 amazing experience the cashier was a Filipino young lady. She was so kind and sweet maybe an amazing latte and the gentleman who made me. My burger was really polite and kind. It was a great experience.

Now, Normally I don't complain about food places, but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of cleanlinessnI saw at this location. The work who was bagging the order I was picking up went from IPad, to her personal phone, to grabbing raw burger patties with her hands and placing them on the grill, to grabbing a fresh head of lettuce and preparing someone's wrap/sandwich, putting fries in the fryer, back to her phone and back to the now cooked burger patties from start to finish all without gloves or washing her hands. All of this right in front of me. Short filipino looking girl with her hair in a little bun and a mole/beauty mark on her cheeks and back of her neck. You can't miss it. She is always working there and I'm very shocked at this level of cleanliness. This should call for some retraining. Please Management if you read this, please stress the importance of these things to your workers.

Not only was my burger prepared just the way I like it, but they also took the time to chat for a moment and brighten my day. It's rare to see such genuine care and attention to detail, and it really made a difference. I truly appreciate the dedication and hard work they puts into their role. We went here for dinner with my family yesterday. Although it wasn’t busy, our order still took around 10 minutes.

The food was served hot, but the quality of the onion rings was very disappointing. They weren’t separated before frying, resulting in a clumped, unappetizing mess.

I also attempted to use a free root beer coupon from the MS coupons and asked to switch it to a coke. However, the crew informed me it was only valid for root beer. This contradicts what’s clearly stated on the back of the coupon - that it can be exchanged for any fountain drink of choice. Management should coach their team properly regarding coupon policies.

Concern About Food Safety Practices

I recently visited the A&W location at Lawrence and Birchmount and wanted to share my experience regarding food safety practices. While the staff was friendly and the service was prompt, I noticed that some employees were not wearing gloves while handling food. This raised concerns about hygiene and food safety, especially in a fast-food environment.

I believe that proper food handling practices are crucial for ensuring the well-being of customers. I hope that management will address this issue and reinforce the importance of wearing gloves when preparing and serving food. It's essential for customers to feel safe and confident in the cleanliness of their meals.
