The doubles here are fantastic if you can ever get to the restaurant when it’s open. Hours on the door and on Google don’t correspond to when the place is actually open. My guess is they close at 5, so don’t expect to get dinner from here.

ACR is the best roti shop! They make Trinidad style roti, doubles, and all sorts of delicious food. If you want authentic Trini style food, that's the place to get it. It's take out only, but, I always buy roti, 2 or 3 doubles and pholouri extra hot. Yummy! Not bad for a white guy born in Toronto 🤣

Honestly, I'm embarrassed for not putting up a review years ago.

This place has been a staple of my childhood memories. You can never go wrong with any selection or combination of items from their menu. Even if you don't know anything about Caribbean food or spices, this is the place to go. No fancy dressed up decor. The best quality, portion sizes(huge), and perfectly 👌 constant food execution.

Every time I come out, I have to get at least 4 Doubles + a meal.

I'm already looking forward to the next time I make a trip to hit this spot, simply because I'm thinking about it as I write this review. Best Roti & Doubles shop in Scarborough!

Always call ahead! They are definitely busy when you really want it.

Been coming here for years! These guys have the best doubles in the city. Whenever I’m in Scarborough I have to stop by and grab a bunch. The pholouri is also one of the best as well.

It was my first visit, it was an unexpected order and a big one. I was served by Aunty Diane. A very sweet person and pleasant experience! I had the opportunity to meet the team that was working that day. My order was accurate, well-packed, and everyone loved the food! Prices are affordable and parking is available around and in the back. I wish the chutney would be slightly more spicy, and there would be more space to eat-in as it's pretty small.

Vegetarian options: Roti & Channa, Roti & Potato, Veg & Roti, and mainly all Trini snacks (pholouri, doubles, etc.).

Parking: There is a free parking lot in the back, but fills up quickly.

Would give a zero if I could.

We went a year ago and I’ve been horrified since but today I saw someone mention it on an Instagram post so I feel like I have to tell people our experience.

Came for the doubles and left because we saw a literal dead mouse as soon as you walked in that the people in line (the place was busy) were nearly stepping on. I’m sure someone did eventually. Anyways, we walked right out and have never been back. I can’t imagine what else is being hidden if this was so obviously on display. People have said they’ve gotten food poisoning etc, I mean, that adds up.

Just visiting Toronto from another province. And wanted to try some Caribbean food. And they were closed at 4:20pm although google says 5pm closing. Very disappointing they didn't update their information nor stay open till actual closing.

Had the doubles…so soft and satisfying! Yes chickpeas on the soft side and so is the wrap, Went back home and literally went for a nap after

This place is probably one of the only good places to get doubles in TO/GTA- it is the real deal and if you know you know ;) The saheena rolls are delicious too. The folks who work at the shop are lovely too. I hope this place never changes or closes! 💜🙏🏽

I was reffed to this place as the best doubles spot in scarborough. I went out of my way to try it. When I got there a younger guy with facial hair took my order. He wasn't particularly welcoming to me. I'm from the Caribbean. I did mention that it was my first time. When I got home after taking a few bites of the chicken roti my stomach started to turn. For the past 4 days I have had severe food poisoning. Diarrhea 24/7 I was hospitalized for it. At the moment I am waiting for my results to see if I ate any parasites. I will never go back to this place again! For a roti shop located in the heart of scarborough I had higher expectations.
