Service was really nice. Seat limit was 1 hour for 2 people.
Wagyu beef with toro was the best roll.
Aka-oni ramen was so flavourful and filling.
Diamond roll was nice bit too fatty for me.
Seared ebi salmon roll was fresh.

Great atmosphere wide variety of sake, and they are proud to show it. We were given both an iPad menu as well as a paper menu. The iPad menu had pictures for pretty much every item which was helpful. But the layout of the iPad menu was not as intuitive.

Sushi was fresh and overall good quality, dishes came pretty fast and despite the layout and busyness of the place the service was decent.

Went for late night. Had some sushi and a butter miso ramen. Sushi was decent. Server kept forgetting we existed, and never brought us water. The pork was extremely thickly sliced and smelled a bit weird but ate it anyway. In house match and black sesame ice cream also had a weird taste. Stomach did not feel well after and had straight diarrhea. NOT GREAT

FOOD POISONING ALERT!!!!
Went for late night snacks around 11pm had sushi and butter miso ramen. The pork seemed weird / sour but ate it anyways … a few hours later… NONSTOP FLOW DOWNSTAIRS!!! You know what I mean?!?!?!?

Food was good. Not wow amazing... But good. I guess price is alright $50 per person if you like variety like what we got.

Absolutely amazing experience at Aka-Oni! The food was top-notch—fresh sashimi, creative rolls, and beautifully plated dishes that tasted just as good as they looked. You can really tell the chefs care about quality.

But what really made the night memorable was our server, Ling. She was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and had perfect timing throughout the meal. Ling made great recommendations and made us feel welcome from start to finish—she truly elevated the whole experience.

One of the staff members stood right behind me, repeatedly saying, “Order, order, order,” which made us very uncomfortable. Couple of ppl didn’t even order food. This is all after when we confirmed beforehand

We were quite unhappy with the service and didn’t plan to leave a tip, but the woman insisted that we tip and kept on saying that you have to tip when the service was very bad. It felt as if we were forced to tip under pressure.
