Al Deewan Manakeesh at the Kennedy location is a true hidden gem and easily one of those places you don’t forget after your first visit. This is their OG spot, tucked away in the plaza, and it has that warm, old-school bakery feel that instantly puts you at ease.

The moment I walked in, it brought back memories of my childhood in Riyadh stopping by the local bakery after school to pick up fresh manakeesh on the way home. That same comforting smell, freshness, and simplicity is exactly what you get here.

I tried the pepperoni rocket, which was perfectly baked with a great balance of flavours, along with the fetteh hummus, which was creamy, rich, and very satisfying. The standout for me was the chocolate banana pudding, absolutely insane and easily a must-try. To top it off, the karak chai with a subtle hint of cardamom was incredibly comforting and paired perfectly with the food.

Everything felt fresh, authentic, and made with care. If you’re looking for a spot that serves quality food and gives you that nostalgic, comforting feeling, Al Deewan Manakeesh is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend checking out this OG location.

The restaurant is spotlessly clean, and the food is delicious and fresh from the oven. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly. Two ladies, Rehab and Layla, were especially lovely, respectful, and cheerful. It was a wonderful experience at this restaurant, unlike other restaurants where you're served with a straight face and a cold demeanor. I highly recommend visiting this place and giving these two ladies a raise and a promotion because they are truly hardworking.

I want to start by acknowledging the atmosphere at Al’Dweewan. The owner, Hanefa, was so sweet and knowledgeable. The bakery is clean, the menu offers a great variety and the prices are reasonable. The food is delicious and made fresh to order. I will definitely be back :)

Loved the beef Manakeesh and the muhammara cheese Manakeesh.
Haneefa is an absolute delight and wonderful host/owner! Would definitely come back when in the area.
Puddings were quite nice too but the fluffy thin bread was amazing.
