Definitely one of my favourite Indian curry spots in town. The curries are rich in flavour, and the roti and biryani are packed with generous portions of meat. However, the counter area and equipment could use a bit more cleaning — it was a bit unsettling to see the chef handle them with bare hands.

We have ordered food from here several times now and have consistently enjoyed it. My favourite is the Chicken Vindaloo with the roti on the side. I always ask for spicy and it never disappoints. It is spiced to fit South Asian tastebuds, which we appreciate. The roti is freshly warmed before serving and has the perfect balance of crispiness and softness. The meat options are all Halal!

I have been to Anna’s Roti house multiple times now. Tried a variety of his curry Roti’s and I have to say, the Lamb Korma is my favourite. The Chef, takes pride in his culinary offerings and the food is always cooked fresh and delicious. The pricing is fair and reasonable for the quantity you receive. Some folks have criticized his Biryanis and the consistency/type of the rice use in the making of. Such folks need to educate themselves on the fact that Biryanis from different parts on the Indian subcontinent differ vastly in its ingredients, consistency of rice, type of rice used and method of preparation. His biryani is delicious and would be aligned with the South Indian method of preparation with spices you would typically find in south Indian /Sri Lankan cuisine. Don’t spend your money at the “Butter chicken roti” joints, come here and patronize a hardworking family man and a talented chef instead!
