I will preface this review by admitting I've never eaten Egyptian food. With that being said, I thought the food was delicious and this place's high rating is totally justified. We ordered both the koshary and sausage dishes off the street food section of their menu. The koshary was a mix of different pastas/carbs with lentils, chickpeas, fried onions, and tomato sauce. It looks heavy but is actually very comforting and light. There is a vinegary sauce on the side that goes will with it. The beef sausages came with a tahini sauce and a unique flat bread (it's not your run of the mill pita). You can also tell the beef sausages are made in-house since they have more texture and bite than the processed stuff you'd find at the grocery store. The total for the two dishes came to about $30. There are only a few Egyptian restaurants in the GTA from what I can tell so definitely check this place out if you're in the area. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more dishes!

I found this hidden gem on social media and I have to say from the moment we walked in to this cozy restaurant' words cannot describe how impressed I was. The food and the service and the atmosphere brought me back to Egypt. The food is delicious and they are the embodiment of hospitality. Highly recommend
Very poor quality meat kofta. Baba gonouch doesn't have any garlic or eggplant taste Also falafel was dark charcoal black meaning oils quality is poor

The place is small & cozy, yet our dine-in experience was good as the place was not too crowded or loud.
We ordered and recommend the following: Molokhya soup Rice Alexandria Liver Hawawshy (spicy) Tarrb Mokh (breaded brains) Vine leaves (served hot) Fresh mango juice Fresh lemonade with mint Om Ali (dessert)
The place is very nice and the food is also very tasty and the service is very respectful. I went more than once and every time I am happier because of the sweetness of the food and the cleanliness.
