We arrived at the restaurant around 9:00 PM and only then learned that they close at 9:30 PM. We were ready to leave, but decided to politely ask if it was still possible to dine in. To our surprise, the staff warmly welcomed us. One of the team members told us to have a seat and assured us that he would take our order within five minutes — and that we could enjoy our meal without worrying about the closing time. This was our first time visiting, and the hospitality truly stood out. To help us get familiar with their menu, they even served two full plates of additional dishes at no extra cost for our group of five. It was such a thoughtful gesture. The décor was beautiful and instantly set a pleasant mood — it felt like it enhanced the taste of the food even before we took our first bite. And once we did, the food was incredible — rich in flavor and absolutely unforgettable. Overall, we were blown away by both the service and the food. Highly recommended — a must-visit restaurant! Very small hole-in-the-wall sort of place but oh man the falafel was amazing! Very different in that they use fava beans than the usual chickpeas, they have a strong savory flavor but they feel much lighter and crispier. Egyptian taro soup was also an absolute banger, exceeded expectations. I hope to come back more often

Very authentic food and authentic Egyptian vibe in the restaurant. Very long wait time. Ordered a soup and potato wedges, friends each ordered one thing, and it took 50 minutes! Not sure why it took so long as the restaurant was empty. Lentil soup needed salt but luckily they had some on the table. Not super friendly service, they kind of seem unhappy you’re there and irritated each time you ask something. Mixed feelings about this place but I may go back to try more things I’ll just need to make sure i clear my whole day since they take nearly an hour to get a couple items ready.

Food,Service, and Ambiance is all 5 stars for me. A must if u haven't tried Egyptian food. We ordered one of the Aragoz for 2.. the meat was amazing! Cooked perfectly and portion is huge. The server walk us through their menu and explained their signature dishes. Overall we are happy and satisfied. Will definitely come back.

Chef/owner takes his craft very seriously. And you can taste how much love and care he puts into every dish. Absolutely amazing food! We personally liked the liver and the beef patties(Hwawashy) the best. We also had the baba ganoush, falafel, and sausage, and would recommend them as well.

This was my first time ordering from Aragoz it was for a birthday party. I ordered the mixed grill as well as the 1/2 kg lamb kabobs and let me just say the food was amazing!! My guest devoured it almost instantly. The portion sizes were generous, the meats were seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly!! The rice was flavorful and aromatic and the seasoned potatoes were delicious with just the right amount of heat. Adam had prepared my order he is a wonderful gentleman he was very helpful and made suggestions as well as patiently answered any questions I had. I can tell alot of care and love goes into the preparation as well as the presentation of the food. I would definitely recommend Aragoz to anyone looking for delicious authentic Egyptian cuisine. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
