We arrived at the restaurant around 9:00 PM and only then learned that they close at 9:30 PM. We were ready to leave, but decided to politely ask if it was still possible to dine in. To our surprise, the staff warmly welcomed us. One of the team members told us to have a seat and assured us that he would take our order within five minutes — and that we could enjoy our meal without worrying about the closing time.
This was our first time visiting, and the hospitality...

Very small hole-in-the-wall sort of place but oh man the falafel was amazing! Very different in that they use fava beans than the usual chickpeas, they have a strong savory flavor but they feel much lighter and crispier. Egyptian taro soup was also an absolute banger, exceeded expectations. I hope to come back more often

Very authentic food and authentic Egyptian vibe in the restaurant. Very long wait time. Ordered a soup and potato wedges, friends each ordered one thing, and it took 50 minutes! Not sure why it took so long as the restaurant was empty. Lentil soup needed salt but luckily they had some on the table. Not super friendly service, they kind of seem unhappy you’re there and irritated each time you ask something. Mixed feelings about this place but I may go back to try more things...
