This small traditional Chinese bakery shop provides very good products like egg tarts and BBQ pork biscuits.
The lady front desk is super!!
Polite, efficient, tidy and always with her sweet smile.

Amazing swiss rolls and traditional baked goods.

This place has the best egg tarts I've had in all of GTA. There are not much reviews, but this place is amazing!! Must try it you are close by. But you might want to call ahead to preorder since it does sell out really quickly.

i have bought the famous egg tart and wife cake but they were so average. They did not seem fresh too (I would be surprised if they were fresh). So disappointed.

The egg tarts are delicious! But neither the wife cake nor the husband cake tastes good. The husband cake is just a little salty. The skin of the two is not as good as Fragrant Bakery's, but the store environment is better than Fragrant Bakery. There are many pineapple buns with good puff pastry, but there is no royal family. The pineapple buns are delicious and the puff pastry cake is just so-so~

They have the best wife's cake (老婆饼)! Everytime we come to Toronto, we have to pass by to get a few boxes?

Genuine authentic old school Chinese pastry shop, need I say more.Come on. They have a photo of Martin Yan "can cook" hanging on their wall stating this is his favorite Lo paw biang "wife cake" place. Most wife cakes I've had didn't have that much filling of almond paste/winter melon, however theirs had plenty. I only wish the winter melon pieces were larger so you get that slight crunch with each bite. They also make those spongy airy mochi like rice cakes which are hard to find due to the difficult cooking process. Unfortunately they are only made on Saturday available at 0930 and sell out fast.I miss my Martin Yan Can Cook tv shows, Gordon Ramsay doesn't even come close, truth.

I have been buying cakes from Xingxiang, they are so delicious?, even in the United States I have to order a lot every time I go back to Toronto. All the employees are very nice ? What touched me the most was that last week I forgot my wallet at the counter, and the boss personally called me to verify if it was my wallet (I didn’t even know the wallet was missing), and the boss also Delivered to my home personally. It's a really, really good store and owner.

so bad ………

Very average wife biscuit. Maybe I didn't get it fresh. It tasted dry and the outer biscuit was soft and the stuffing just taste like sugar with no winter melon or almond aroma
