I’ve been coming to Athens Pastries for years, sometimes for their baked pies, sometimes to take the unbaked ones home. But lately, the experience has really declined. On my last few visits, the unbaked pies were no longer available, then the meat pies were out of stock, and the display had only a couple of items left. The overall atmosphere also didn’t feel as friendly or welcoming as it used to.
Most recently, I bought a spinach pie, and honestly, its freshness was questionable, everyone who tried it ended up with an upset stomach. They mentioned they were changing their factory, but at this point, I don’t see much reason to return.

I stopped by Athens Bakery on Saturday around 4 p.m. hoping to pick up some loukoumades, but was disappointed to learn they had none available and weren’t making any more for the day. It was surprising, especially on a weekend when many people are gathering with family and friends and would love to bring a traditional dessert. Since the bakery is open until 9 p.m., I expected there would be enough preparation to meet weekend demand. Athens Bakery is well known for its delicious pastries, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve availability for customers in the future.

Great place for spanakopita. You can also buy higher quality filo there for cooking your own stuff.
My first time here and I loved this place. Their pies meat and cheese are so good. While i was waiting with my 2 year old son, cashier gave him couple of honey balls. So sweet. Definitely coming back.

Loved the place. Tried their spinach pie, cheese pie and honey balls. Spinach pie a must try. Coffee was good but didnt like the frappe that much. Staffs are really nice. Hope to visit soon. A family friendly cafe.

I'm in a large wheelchair, and there was a great customer and Lady who works there, ready to open the door for me. Same, for when I needed to leave: Thank You! 💝 I ordered the spanokopita, because of someone else's review. When I can return again, I will try your custard pie, again, because of the great reviews. It seems that I should try your coffees too! 😉Even though it might seem like a small space, it's delightful, and very spacious, especially considering my large wheelchair.
