Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Service by Raj

I’ve been a regular at this location because it’s close to home, and usually, the staff—especially Rutu and others—are fantastic, always friendly and eager to help. However, my experiences with Raj have been consistently frustrating, and today was the final straw.

Raj’s unfriendly attitude and lack of care completely spoil the mood of enjoying what should be a great meal. Today, he forgot to add chicken to both my bowl and burrito, and when I pointed it out, he re-wrapped the burrito, completely messing it up. This isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with poor service from him, but I avoided writing a negative review in the past. In fact, I previously gave Rutu and the rest of the team a 5-star review, which I had to edit today.

When I mentioned that other staff usually make my burrito as I like it, Raj replied, “I am the manager now, so I will ask them all not to make it as you like. This is how the franchise runs, and these are the instructions from the owner.” I don’t know if he was being truthful, but if he is indeed the manager, and these are the owner’s instructions, it’s worrying for the future of this location. His attitude does not reflect the quality service the rest of the team provides, and frankly, it ruins the experience of eating good food.

For the reference of the owner, this interaction happened at 11 p.m. on Sunday night. Since I don’t know which days Raj works, I’ll sadly be taking my business elsewhere. It’s a shame because this used to be our go-to spot, but it’s no longer worth the money when someone like Raj is handling orders.
