I have been coming here since I was a little girl (over 40 years). The older gentlemen used to let me take a kaiser bun for free because they were my favourite. This place is a hidden gem in Scarborough Junction.

I bought a beef patty, chicken pot pie and a small sausage roll. Chicken pot pie is dry and spoil. Probably there for over a week. Sausage roll also well over four days not spoiled, but super dry.

I was quite disappointed with the food. The beef roll had a strong, unpleasant smell and didn’t taste fresh. The cake was overly sweet and not enjoyable. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend based on this experience.

Deliberately dishonest. Repeatedly. Ask for receipts and check them.

This place is the best!! They’ve got fresh soft bread and pastries, yummy snacks (like beef patties, sausage rolls, etc) and desserts. They even make custom sandwiches. Plus they are super friendly and have great customer service and prices. You won’t regret coming here.

A little pricey.

The bread and selection here is top notch and they have a good variety of treats. The owner needs to work on his customer service. Every time I visit the shop he's on the phone. Today the payment system stopped working, instead of trying to troubleshoot, he tells the person over the phone the machine isn't working and then tells me that the machine is broken, sorry. How about putting the phone down and trying to fix the machine, maybe plug it out and plug it back in? Nope, just needed to get back to his phone call and then disappear into the back, while the payment machine is taking a rest. Very unserious.

One of owners who I believe is son basically called me a liar. I was saying I don't get a sticker on deli meat or cheese that has been weighted. Says they always weight it. Yes I checked the weight today but again no sticker. He says they never had stickers that show the weight. So rude to me. That was my last shop there. I have been going for many years. I can spend my money anywhere I want. 👋 bye

If you’re going to sell cookies for $1.50 each, maybe consider making them edible. I went in to pick up some cookies and got 2 different kinds, chocolate & oatmeal. Both were hard as rocks / burnt & just a huge disappointment. Doesn’t really inspire me to try other things from the bakery because cookies are some of the simplest things to make and if those were that disappointing I don’t plan on wasting my money to support a business that prioritizes quantity over quality. If you’re expecting / hoping for fresh baked goods, save yourself the disappointment. Also I understand that it’s family owned but maybe keep your family drama container. Cashier yelling in my face @ someone in the back who upset her and then venting about her family issues while I’m trying to cash me out was weird lol overall overstimulating experience & leaving a review so you guys can hopefully take it as constructive criticism to improve your business !

Been coming here since I was in elementary school with my friends. Always had great baked goods and delicious beef patties. Family owned business and everyone I’ve met is extremely kind. Went today for my visit back in Scarborough and had a lovely conversation with the lady working.
