If you are missing "home" and want to feel the rum shop vibes, then this is the place for you. Everyone is nice and friendly. They have many lunch specials (until 3 pm Monday to Friday) to choose from at affordable prices. The price will be 7.99 starting January 1st, which includes a can pop. The lunch special is available after 3pm for an upcharge. They have a full West indian chinese menu to choose from. Staff is polite, the restaurant is clean, and it is at Midland and Eglinton steps from Kennedy Station.Parking: Parking is in a strip plaza with a few other stores so it maybe busy depending on the time of day you go.

Absolutely loved the Spicy Shrimp Chowmein ... Loaded with huge shrimps ... one of the best I have had so far in Toronto ...Also ordered the Shrimp hot and sour soup, but it smelled and tasted very weird, almost rotten, so we returned it.. In my experience when food is returned, customer is not charged for it, I had to pay full price ... Never going back because of the Aweful soup and having to pay for it.

Picked up 2 lunch specials for $7.99 each, Chilli chicken and beef with mixed veg, both came with rice. A huge portion of rice but only small portion of meat and veg but it was filling. These are supposed to be thai dishes but they seem to be using Chinese 3 spice powder it doesn't mix with Thai basil.

Great authentic Guyanese/Chinese food. No roti but chicken/shrimp curry to chow mein. Lots of parking.

Curry Goat was nothing but giant bones and a tiny portion as well. The potato was semi raw :( Strange flavor in the gravy as well. The cook does not know what they are doing. Chicken and veg was ok I guess, but again raw veg. Plain roti was really nice and well made. Never again for sure! Much better places out there....

I was craving some roti tonight decided to try this place down the road from me. We ordered 2 chicken dahlpuri and 1 beef.$11.50 ea.We didn’t get dahlpuri we get plain roti which was on the doughy side. The beef curry tasted like Chinese style stir fry with curry sauce and the chicken curry was to watery and tasted somewhat like carrots. It was still good to eat but If you’re looking for authentic style, Guyanese food or West Indian food this is not itSorry

Ordered some take out on Sunday. Fried rice was average - what you'd expect. Also ordered a Thai red curry, which was inedible, like they could have used a store packet and it would have been better. Will not be back.
