One of my relatives recently visited this restaurant to pick up a takeout order and unfortunately encountered some very unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from the staff. After placing and paying for her order, she noticed several containers on the counter and mistakenly assumed one of them was hers. When she reached for it, an employee immediately accused her of trying to take someone else’s food, speaking with unnecessary hostility and attitude. It was a genuine misunderstanding—she had no intention of taking anything that wasn’t hers. It makes no sense to accuse her of taking another order as she already placed and paid for her own. To make matters worse, the actual customer which seemed to be the employees friend also wrongly assumed my relative had stolen it, despite the situation being clearly accidental. Instead of calmly clarifying the mix-up, the employee escalated the situation and even commented on the fact that my relative hadn’t left a tip. For the record, tipping is entirely optional and should never be used as a basis for judgment or mistreatment. This entire interaction could have been handled with basic courtesy and professionalism. A simple, respectful explanation would have resolved the confusion without resorting to accusations or attitude.

The food is reasonably priced but very bland and not very aromatic. We stopped in for a work lunch to grab a quick bite and service was fast, and food hot. In terms of taste, not very flavorful but it was all fresh. Not saying this is the restaurant's fault in any way and probably my taste buds just accustomed to a more commercial jerk chicken which has a pop of lime/lemon and a more kick to it.

Dude I dealt with a rediculous employee which is whatever but they screwed up my order, made me wait n then not knowing what am getting, the same person screws it up and I paid the the price for boneless n my food was bone in, like am done, I asked for no bone and payed the price for it, why the hell is bone in it!!!!! 😳😳😳😳😳😳am done last time ordering from here

Prices are getting out of control compared to quality and what you get. I ordered the beef fried rice as a side and there was only enough for 2..at $14 with taxes..for really cheap meat and rice is way way too much. Unfortunately, this will be the demise of this business and many others..prices are just getting to high for take out and people will stop ordering.

Went tonight to pick up food. Fry rice, veg chow mien and pepper shrimp. Fry rice had too much onions and the green peas they use is frozen straight to the rice and has a horrible rubber taste. Fry rice rating zero! Veg chow mien was a bit dry so it gets a 3 out of 10. The pepper shrimp was the worst. Tiny shrimp cooked with more onions than shrimp. The taste was not fresh and tasty, it more so tasted like the shrimp was reheated. This place is horrid and if you want to waste your money then go here. Once the owner reads this, please don't try to cut down my comment and pretend that you are selling good food cause CLEARLY your food is terrible.

LUNCH PORTION DINNERS!! FOOD IS TERRIBLE!! My Caribbean people hear me out. This is not the place to go for traditional West Indian food. Their food is subpar as you can see from my photos. I am from Milton and I haven’t ordered from this place in about a year. My mom picked up the food from Scarborough and brought it to my home for us to Enjoy cause we used to love it. However, The portions are lunch size portions for dinner prices. I called back and told them that they gave me lunch sized portions. They proceeded to tell me that this is the size now. Imagine my disappointment when I paid $50 for three small containers Not the large squares that they used to have. I proceeded to tell her that they should reevaluate the sizes of their dinner, platters and adjust their pricing accordingly. All I got was a sorry, this is how it is. The food was not great at all. The chicken was dry, and the rice was to squishy. The Low Mein Was as bland as it looks. I got the mix low Mein And the majority was vegetables especially the extra celery that filled the container. The shrimp were tiny, and the beef was not a color I recognize. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

The wave wings are so good. If you like crunchy and spicy, I 10/10 recommend. Also, had a miscommunication during ordering and ended up paying more than I expected. The restaurant was so kind and accommodating and fixed the order (including refunding me for the miscommunication). Great customer service, and great food.
