This is a certified hood classic!

Now there's better kbbq (or jbbq) in Scarborough but this chakos specifically is the first for some and deserves some major points

I was feeling a bit nostalgic and wanted the revisit this gem, the last time I was here was probably around 2017 almost 10 years ago!

Now the food; they've definitely added a couple meats but it's exactly what you'd expect from chakos or any kgrills. What I did notice was the grill was pretty oily and started to fry even before we put food on, I may also add that the first round of meats were sticking on the grill! Not sure if this is due to the oil or simply because there wasn't any sauces on.

Another tidbit I personally like their thick grills over the thin ones from jbbq joints. Simply better since you don't have to fight the thin grill cooking your food.

Now the place does have some wear and tear you'd see but they really take care of the place it won't be a problem.

Our server was very attentive and always in our area so bonus points they always do well with the staff!

Lastly; the price, if you want to save some money if you're in this area for grills chakos is a good option for the value compared to gyubee. But of course you get what you pay for so keep that in mind.

This place was excellent. The food was amazing, the ambiance was great and the experience was terrific. I had a great time and would come back again!

Our waitress, Hellen, was great and provided very good hospitality to us. The food was so nice and the price was pretty affordable for what we got. Definitely recommend.

Great food, service and the whole atmosphere. We come here for special occasions! We are definitely in need of a shower after unless you don't mind smelling like delicious BBQ!

food were ok, not as many options as i expected but enough to try, sushi was a surprise, didn’t expect korean all you can eat bbq could offer pretty nice sushi, mango pudding was good too but dessert limited to 1 per person which is pretty mehhhh
