The cashier working now did not honour the 2 for $10 promotion.
I ordered 2 large roasted matcha for $17 (including HST) and just saw they have an ongoing promotion. I had paid for it already so I quickly approached the cashier to ask if we can reverse it. I was planning to order the same drinks, but instead of being helpful she just outright refused. They weren’t even working on our drinks yet. Just straight no. I didn’t want to make a big fuss about it but looking back, I would’ve saved a couple of dollars (especially in this economy). Isn’t what she did against my right as a Canadian consumer?
I’m a long time fan of Chatime, I love their drinks and it’s sad that they have staff like her.

A steady location within the plaza that has quite a few options. The reason why I give 3 stars is because they are a bit stingy with their toppings. Also the price of their drinks have gone up (approx. $8-9 a drink) which makes it quick expensive for a treat.

Chatime is usually my go to Bubble Tea spot however, their customer service has gotten so bad and it just isn’t worth it anymore. They also keep changing their rewards program and make it extremely difficult to retrieve accounts from the previous rewards system therefore, you end up losing the rewards you built up. Even a birthday reward, they aren’t willing to honour with proof of ID.

I often go to this location because they taste better than other places. But today I went there and ordered the same milk tea and asked for no sugar. But the one I got was 10 times sweeter than the one with sugar. I couldn't finish it after two sips. I was so disappointed.
Nice and convenient place in a plaza with lots of choices for food. The milk tea drinks are good and not diluted with too much milk or where I couldn't taste the tea from the drink. Staff are friendly and flexible. The place is clean. Easy to find parking.

We came by after dim sum. Our drinks were from the regular menu and the promotional menu. Staff member was polite and courteous, drinks were made in a timely fashion. We will return again.
