Chawk Bazar (South Asian Eatery)

Something happened to this restaurant. Food used to be really good but recently the food is not good at all. I ordered beef tehari and it smelled like cow skin cooked together with the beef. I almost puked after eating. I cannot explain the smell but it was horrible. I used to frequent this place from far away when I am in town but not anymore. Please fix the quality and taste of your food please.

We have ordered Mutton kacchi, Thai Soup, Fuchka, Vorta Platter, Alu Fulkopi Rui Jhol & Sorshe Ilish. Not a single item was good/tasty. The Ilish was stale & smelly. Not a single vorta was good, even I can make better vorta. Alu fulkopi was totally uncooked. They gave fuchka without preparation, no salt or nasala. We had to ask for them separately. Mutton kacchi was below average. The restaurant is NOT RECOMMENDED at all.

Pathetic quantity for high price. The worst part is the service. Ordered $46 food for takeaway and the guy did not even know the word THANKS while makingnthe bill...never going back

My friend literally forced me to try this place. My stomach and myself regret it completely I got food poisoning and have been sick for over a week. The food was not fresh or edible. That person is not my friend anymore.

We ordered from Chawkbazaar twice. They delivered the food at 2 hours distance. Both the times the food was very hot. The food was very delicious both the times.

I read mixed reviews about this restaurant but I can, honestly, say I have never been disappointed with Chawkbazar catering. For a house party we ordered the Silver package for 12 people. Food was tasty and they respected our request to use as less oil as possible. Perfect portion size and we even had plenty of leftovers. Thanks Chawkbazar for making sure my guests were well fed!!

One of the worst restaurants in Toronto, only busy serving catering items. We were sitting 20 minutes after ordering cha and snacks items, then 20 min later we asked for the food they said they do not have ingredients to make it. They could have informed us when we placed the order instead of wasting our time
