DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!! This place is definitely very over rated!
I finally decided to try this place for my first time ever and called in advance to order 2 Jerk Chicken Meals and then when I got there I decided to order 1 Curry Goat Meal as well.
The rice and peas are TERRIBLE! (why the heck would they decide to use Basmati long grain rice?? Very bad idea)
The Jerk Chicken flavor was mediocre and the preparation/stlye of cooking is really disappointing.
The Goat Meal was mainly big bones with a few tuff pieces of goat meat... There is absolutely NO WAY the guy who served it didn't realize that he filled the container with mainly bones! Almost seems like he was having a bad day and did it on purpose! (the guy with the faded out skin)
I will say that the festival dumplings and the plantains and the vegetables were good... but still feel like I waisted my money!
Overall this place is definitely not for anyone who is a real foodie... more so for those people who really don't no how this type of food is supposed to be prepared and taste.

Got a take out from this place for jerk chicken. I guess they cooked rotten chicken or something i ended up having extreme stomach ache and some symptoms of food poisoning and spent 7 hours in emergency in North York General. I guess this would be my first and last visit.

Food is super amazing best I ever had from any franchise in Toronto just the cashier part take one step back a little and breathe make your customers wanna order more not to wanna hurry and go tell us about the food introduce us to new stuff smile cause that alone will make a person feel welcome and for the chefs I don’t know how you all do it but don’t stop that food is top level super awsome can eat it every day even the rice I’ll eat alone

If you’re looking for the real thing, it’s worth making the trip to Chris jerk. The food is out of this world and the amount of people that come and go is definitely an indication of how delicious everything is. The only disappointing thing is I would’ve liked to have eaten there, rather than take it home. Regardless I’ll make the trip again.
