COBS Bread Bakery Morningside Crossing

Visited them for the first time on the 28 th, the young lad was very helpful. I wanted to know the ingredients and he promptly gave me a printout. The bread was amazing! Bit pricey for my purpose but will definitely visit again. Because the customer service was amazing! Especially the young man ! Wonder if you would make coloured bread on order?

Best location I’ve been to! I come in all the time for their scones and hospitality!

I was at this branch around noon today September 15th. Was not happy with morningside branch Service. Sales guy was too pushy. No patience. Rushing me, without letting me think. Right After the payment was done, I remembered my e.mail that I received from Cobs bakery for a free loaf of bread and he refused to give me that offer. He wanted me to spend another $15 worth bread. I walked away saying no I am not going to spend more money to receive the free bread. I always visit the Whitby bakery and never had any issues like this.

I do love the baked goods. I have my favourite. But most items I’ve tried are very good. Occasionally dry but more often very yummy.
I’ve been coming here regularly for about a year now. Have always had pretty good service. Their marketing tactics always bring me in with the free treats. However today I had a strange experience with who I think may be an owner. I felt like I was bothering her. It was a strange interaction and it made me feel un-welcome. She was not friendly with me at all. It’s seems as though I rubbed her the wrong way right off the bat. She was cold and uninterested. Maybe just a bad day. I will continue to visit. Hopefully a better interaction with her the next time.

Love this place! The breads, buns etc. are always fresh and they even have a high-fiber bread that is great for diabetics. Everyone that works there is polite and friendly. Their points system is very easy and they sometimes give me cards for a free loaf. I even received a birthday message with a free cinnamon bun which is a nice touch! They will also give you a bag and a twist tie (on request) if you want to share your loaf. My only complaint is that their butter tarts have raisins in them and I’m very anti-raisin lol.

Buns replaced, no problem and what a difference, they’re very good!! Thank You ?I bought hot cross buns this afternoon and they’re stale, hard as a rock!! Could use them as a door stop!! When I called to complain, they told me put them in the microwave, that should soften them up, so they’re edible!!!! Cobs responded and told me to call, but of course no one answered the phone ?
