I visited Crown Pastry on Thursday with my friend and bought their dessert that was on special. What a great price for something so delicious! This was my first time having a Syrian dessert, and it did not disappoint. I tried the Balauria, and it was absolutely delightful, rich, flavorful, and perfectly sweet. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to! The service was great , friendly and inviting.

I visited this bakery twice. The first time I ordered the mango fruit . It was really good. The second visit was on Friday night, and it will be the last. I paid 60 dollars for a variety of baklava, 3 boxes went directly into the garbage. They looked amazing, but the taste was horrible. Indeed they were very old, and dry. They didnt taste like they were made fresh, super hard to chew, and a very strong taste of samney , they tasted horrible. I was severly disappointed. One of the worst lebanese pastries I ever bought. Not mention looking very bad , as I bought this for a dinner invite . Never again .

We’ve been visiting Crown Pastries for years, and the food continues to be excellent, their baklava is always top-notch. What originally made this place stand out was the warm and welcoming service. We were usually greeted with a smile, offered samples, and helped through the different box options and selections, which made the experience feel special. During our visit this Sunday, the service felt a bit different. There was no greeting or samples, and the interaction was very brief and transactional. It may have just been an off day, but it did stand out compared to our many past visits. We’ll most likely continue coming back because the quality of the sweets is outstanding. That said, the friendly service is something we’ve always associated with Crown Pastries, and I hope to see that return.
