It's really bad. It's my first time eating noodles here. I was told that I ordered too many ingredients, so there was no soup. Haha, it's so funny. I spent six more yuan to eat your bowl of noodles. Because I added two more ingredients, when you served the noodles, I asked if you could add a little soup. You told me that because I ordered too many ingredients, there was no soup. 😂

Gave me and my party raw chicken wings. We took some bites and felt disgusted. Didn't apologize or anything, but did replace the chicken. So I tipped less than normal, they decided to make it a big deal, so here I'm writing this review.

Deer Garden has been around for a long time, but they have always kept their quality and service up for almost a decade.

They always have great soup noodles with really good meat portions. Their milk tea is on point, and they have one of the tastiest chilli oils in the GTA.

Last week we strolled in around 9: 15 not knowing that they closed at 9:30. The waitress let me know that it was pretty much last call and asked me if I could get my order in. We promptly ordered and paid. Even though they were busy closing they were always attentive to our needs. I spilled my cold milk tea and without even needing to flag them down, the waitress immediately came and clean up my mess and topped up my drink. We apologize when leaving saying that we didn't know that they were almost closing, but the waitresses graciously told us it was totally fine.I was really grateful for their hospitality and gave them a small tip in cash on top of what I already tipped previously. It was literally nothing but the waitress and told me it was not necessary, not knowing how much their patronage meant to us.

It's so nice to have a restaurant like Deer Garden that consistently delivers quality food for fair prices.

I love their original fish soup. Yes, prices have gone up, but which restaurant hasn't? They're still very generous with the meat portions and I always leave full

The food was excellent and the atmosphere truly enjoyable, creating an overall pleasant dining experience. The quality of the dishes and the ambiance of the establishment reflected a high standard that we appreciated. However, the service unfortunately did not match the rest of the experience. When we politely requested to have our bill broken into smaller denominations, the staff responded with an unwelcoming attitude. We were met with a noticeably uncomfortable look, and shortly after, it appeared that our request became the subject of gossip among the team. This behavior was both unprofessional and disappointing, especially considering the otherwise high quality of the restaurant. While we understand that service staff can face long and demanding shifts, every guest deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy throughout their visit. A small, reasonable request should not lead to such discomfort or lack of professionalism.
