I ordered pav bhaji and was promised 2 extra pavs, but when I opened the package, there were only 4. Everywhere in India, 4 pavs is the standard serving, so where exactly are these ‘extra’ pavs? Turns out these people think 2 pavs is normal, and for this ridiculous portion size, they’re charging $25! When I called to ask what’s going on, the woman on the phone smugly says, ‘We’ve been doing this for 3-4 years.’ Are you serious? What a joke! Absolute rip-off and a total waste of money. Unbelievable.

I've been a regular at Dilli Wala and always loved the food, but after today's visit, I’m never coming back. I came here to enjoy a meal with my sister, who traveled all the way from Kitchener because I had bragged so much about the place. We ordered fried veg momos, spring rolls, and chilli potato. The momos were cold and not at all crispy, and when I complained, the chef dismissed it, saying the weather outside was cold – seriously? The spring rolls were soaked in oil, completely soggy, and the chilli potato lacked any crispiness. On top of that, when we refused to take the chilli potato, the staff insulted us at the reception. The service was beyond unacceptable, and the staff clearly needs proper training on how to treat customers. I’m incredibly disappointed and will not be returning.

Best Indian flavours one can experience in Canada. Must try creamy momos and chole bhature in breakfast. I wanted to try the whole menu will definitely come back till I try every dish.

After regularly ordering takeout from Dilli Wala for the past three months, I’m happy to share my thoughts on their food. Recently, they opened their dine-in space, and while I haven’t dined there yet, it’s definitely on my list for the future.
Dilli Wala feels like visiting a friend’s home where they cook for you with love. Their Rajma Chawal has become my go-to comfort meal for those lazy days when I want something homely but don’t feel like cooking. And here’s an unpopular opinion: their Butter Chicken is one of the best I’ve had in Toronto—rich, flavorful, and authentic.
Other dishes I’d recommend are the Chicken Tikka, Rajma Chawal, chicken tikka roll and Paneer Tikka. I’m eager to try more of their appetizers next time.
Whether you’re new to Indian cuisine or a fan of authentic Delhi flavors, Dilli Wala won’t disappoint. The taste is true to what you’d find in India, and the flavors are not watered down. Kudos to the staff for keeping it genuine!

Naan was unchewable, impossible to eat, and spring roll was not cooked in good quality of oil, it smelled.
Only thing I liked so far is veg grill sandwich other wise nothing is good.
