Service with a friendly smile, I had haddock and chips even the grease is yummy. I don’t mind the packets of tartar sauce, absolutely enjoyed the meal.

Waitress and presumably owner at cash were incredibly rude the one and only time I came here. Would NEVER come back.

Place was clean, staff plentiful and food good.

As other reviews state, portions are a bit smaller than usual, but so is the price. $17 for fish & chips is great!

Menu is simple. Not at all overwhelming.

Looking forward to trying/comparing the Danforth location soon.

Went today and the chips were absolutely awful—refried I think. Never had worse chips in my life! Fish was small and worst of all, undercooked and soggy. I think the cooks were too busy chatting to be bothered with cooking. I’ve been coming here for 30 years but probably won’t go back. Very sad!

They say they open at 11:00 a.m. on their website and obviously in Google. Showed up to pick up lunch and there's a sign on the door that says they don't open until 11:30.

Things like that happen, I wait around until 11:30. Still not open and doors are locked.

Update your hours please so you don't waste other people's time

Simply amazing halibut and chips. Great old photos of Scarborough from yesteryear on the walls. And very efficient and friendly service. Highly recommended.

Duckworth's at Kingston Road is 69 years old and looks like it can keep going forever. Food is great and the price is competitive for Halibut. They also have Cod Haddock etc.

Duckworth's Fish & Chips has remained the go-to spot in the GTA since they opened in the 1950's. Great generational family business. I definitely stop in whenever I'm in the neighborhood!
