Food was delicious. I would definitely come back here. We had the shrimp fried rice, beef with green onions. Beef pancakes, and the assorted dumpling set. All of it was steller.
You should definitely try out this place if your in the area.

Dumpling Restaurant is a cozy Chinese spot located in a small plaza with minimal parking. Not those fancy restaurants like in Markham or Richmond Hill but reasonable pricing and good eats in Scarborough. Restaurant offers both takeout and dine-in.

Dined here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t very busy. The menu included made fresh to order dumplings and a variety of other dishes including soups, rice, noodles, vegetable and meat dishes. Ordered the Xiao Long Bao, Dumpling with Shrimp, chive, egg and pork, Lamb Skewers and Seafood soup with tofu.

Of course, we ordered more than we could finish. Portions are generous but delicious! Highly recommend the dumplings and I’d definitely visit again to try out their other food options.

Bring cash if you want 5% discount off the bill or they accept debit as well (no credit). Service was A-OK, no complaints. Only downfall is the lack and challenge in finding a parking spot!

Chinese Korean fusion cuisine sells here. If you want to try different Korean dishes, this is the place. But keep in mind that this is technically a Chinese restaurant.

Hands down best dumpling spot in the whole GTA area 🤤 jumbo and juicy, we always come back to this place. Service is friendly too!

First time trying this place , ordered the sweet and sour fish . It was very good , lots of sauce , crispy veggies and big pieces of fish . They said it's white fish . I would say it's 7.5 out of 10. I will definitely go back to try other menu items .

I ordered the Steamed Soup Filled Buns With Pork (小笼包) which came with six dumplings, and the Beef Noodle Soup (红烧 | 牛肉面). The beef noodle soup came with the broth (meat, vegetables, broth) in a separate bowl and the cooked noodles in a separate bowl. This was great in avoiding soggy noodles, I wish the broth had a little more flavour in terms of salt, nevertheless, the meal warmed my heart and stomach. The soup dumplings was what I most looked forward to, but there was more filling than soup in the dumplings. This was slightly disappointing but I prefer having the less soup - more filling combo rather than less soup AND filling. This restaurant is great, the atmosphere reminds me of Toronto's Chinatown before the real estate takeover and absurd pricing, and the guy at the counter was efficient in handling the order and our cash! Next time I'm in Scarborough, I'm definitely coming here again!

Fennel and pork; shrimp, pork and chives; and bok choy and pork are outstanding. Serve with Chinkiang Chinese rice vinegar and cold beer. I’d say 15-20 for a large hungry male. Best done as takeaway.

This is a really good place to satisfy dumpling cravings! After finding out there’s a place called dumpling restaurant, my friend and I had to go and we didn’t hold back. We ordered: assorted dumplings, fried dumplings, soup dumplings, kimchi rice, and the braised beef pancake. All so delicious. The dumplings are so flavourful, and are amazing with either soy sauce or soy sauce mixed with a little bit of vinegar. The pricing for dumplings is also very good for the portion, and we left with a whole container full to air fry later (was also amazing). We were completely satisfied and will definitely be coming back again soon to try more!

The proper/right wonton wrap should be pretty thin. However, their wonton wraps + the dumplings' are just too thick. The meat inside these types of dumplings don't have much taste at all. Indeed, my daughter + I are EXTREMELY disappointed.
