Dumpling Restaurant (饺子庄)

I been here a few times. I lived in the area my entire life but never noticed this restaurant lol. The mapo tofu is so good, probably the best one I've had. It's just enough to tingle your tongue and the flavour is good. The pork and chive dumplings pan fried or steamed are tasty as well. Pretty straightforward service. Their Lamb live,heart and tripe soup was so refreshing and flavourful. I didn't expect the soup to be so good.

Had lunch here with family today—though it felt more like lunch and dinner because the portions were generous and we ordered a lot! Even though we were full, we still had leftovers, so it’s definitely great value for the price.

We’ve been here many times, and we always get the steamed dumplings and cold noodles—so good! The cold appetizers, meats, and veggies are consistently delicious. I haven’t tried their soups or desserts yet, but they seem popular. Their Korean dishes are solid too. Highly recommended!!

Tried #2. Chives, Egg, Pork, & Shrimp Dumplings. It was delicious, juicy and packed with flavour.

Also tried #31. Mini Meat Dumplings In Spicy Sauce but felt the sauce was a bit bland and made the dish as a whole not as flavourful.

The service was quick and the dumplings were good.

It filled up by the time we left. Parking was a challenge.

Amazing dumplings

GF wanted dumplings specifically so we ended up here. They guy at the front went over all the dumpling options with me so I could get her the ones she wanted. Seems like a nice quiet family restaurant. Dumplings were great and reasonably priced.

Let me start off with a disclaimer, parking is very difficult here because the lot is small. You'll be waiting for a spot for a while because it's usually quite busy. Now, onto the food which is very tasty. Everything is well made, delicious, well-seasoned and very fair pricing. Soup dumplings bursting with juice and flavour. Dumplings are soft and pillowy with tons of flavour. Cold dishes are perfectly seasoned. I have been coming back here often and will continue to do so for as long as they're in business.

Great hidden gem in Scarborough! The food is always amazing!! I had my birthday dinner here and was very happy!!

A friend of ours raved about this place, after going there I know why. These guys have perfected dumplings as well as other authentic Chinese food dishes. We will definitely go back.

Came here with my wife to have a little brunch. We are new to dumplings and wanted to taste something authentic. We were very satisfied by the portion and quality of these dumplings. The taste did feel authentic and fresh. We also tried the lamb skewers which also have a generous portion and it was delicious. We also tried the mini dumpling in spicy soup and it was okay, I recommend going with the actual dumplings. We look forward to our next visit here to try another type of dumpling and those skewers of course!

Affordable and delicious! Lots of options, even vegetarian. Cold potato salad is amazing - very few places offer this dish. The only thing that could be better is the lighting - it's a little cold. Warmer lighting would make it more comfortable.
