Friendly, consistently tasty, good price. Favourite place for bbq!

Come here for the best, consistently classic canto-style BBQ on the east side of the city. Owner is very nice. Char shiu and bbq pork are highlight items. Sweet sour pork also very good. Excellent value.

Honestly you try and help a neighborhood restaurant and they get a bit popular and everything changes. Very sneaky stuff. On the board, 1 pound pork shows $11 after you order it's $16 plus taxes. Apparently, it's an old sign and that for half a pound. Also everything has to be cash but still charging taxes and cheating the cust and government.
There are a few way better places to spend your money and get a better deal for less. Over rated BS

Got 1 soya sauce chicken for $20 and slightly more than 1 lb of cha siu for $13.50, which works out to around $38 when 13% HST is included. Note that it's cash only (though ordering through other online platforms is available). It's a hole in the wall type of take out restaurant specializing in Chinese and Filipino BBQ meat. Nothing fancy. I probably should have asked for thinner slices of pork. Sauce is included.

Jack is an amazing owner who is really down to earth, gave me free portion of tofu since it is my first time here and chatted me with me as well to greet me.

The roast pork has meat that's moist, yet the skin is crispy. I like the dry rub they use, it has a more flavour than other places. And the skin has a nice smoky flavour.

This place is my top 2 favourites in the GTA for roast pork!

My family is Hawaii Japanese and it’s been difficult to find Char siu with a similar flavor profile as the Hawaiian kind, this place brought me back to my grandmas kitchen.

Didn’t taste any flavour inside of the duck meat, especially the bigger pieces. It tastes like steamed duck, no taste, no juice in the meat. Sincere feeling. But the sliced roast duck looks great on the takeout box.

We tried the roasted pork and bbq pork… both were below average.

Legit the best BBQ place ever. Love it since childhood. Like they BBQ the crispy pork just right so that even overnight, you can just microwave it and the skin is still super crunchy crispy like fresh.

If you visit the store near closing in evening, super deals!!

We saw this place on an Eater video on YouTube, so decided to give it a try.

We ordered the following:

1. Sweet and sour pork (Lots of meat, but no crispiness).

2. BBQ pork (Very dry, although we ordered extra sauce, it didn't help much).

3. Tofu (Very salty)

4. Farm chicken

Had high hopes for this place, but we were disappointed on the quality, and the taste.

Merry Christmas and happy new year. Best Chinese bbq in the area. Kind staff and tasty food. It’s worth driving all the way from Yonge.
