Been a follower of this restaurant for many many years they have moved a few times but what has not changed are those delious papusas. Full of flavor full of love not to many places around doing these delious soul food, comfort food. A must check out and taste you will not be disappointed ? if you order for pick call ahead, give yourself sufficient amount of time as everything is in house made "fresh" by angel hands and with extra love and care.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is wheelchair accessible for customers.

Get ‘Em while you can.. Unfortunately, they’re closing at the end of February and they will not be re opening. The owner says he and his wife have been at it for 30 years and they think it’s time for a rest… They’re knocking it all down to build condos (as if there aren’t enough) and there’s no other pupuserias in Scarborough. ? As somebody who is half Salvadorian, these foods are a staple in my home. I will now have to travel all the way to the west end of the city when I want to eat pupusas. The owners here are amazing people! So thank you for all your years of service to the Latino community here in Scarborough, you’ll be missed! Gracias por todo, señor y señora. Y Dios te bendigas!! ??❤️?????

The best pupusas my family and I have found in the GTA. They are filling and such a good price. So delicious!

Picked up an assortment of Pupusas, De Queso Con Loroco, De Queso Con Jalapeno, Chicharron Y Queso and De Chicharron. They were huge and super tasty. Only downside was that they were a bit oily. They came with tomato sauce and a great portion of coleslaw as well. They are made to order and as fresh as it gets! Worth a visit for authentic eats from El Salvador.

Pupusas are very tasty!

Great tasting food. It's not fast food, and thus takes time to prepare but it's well worth the wait.

The Pupusas are so good. Made fresh as you order! I'm so happy I found this place. They're going to get sick of seeing me.

WOW. I didn’t expect to love this place as much as I do.As a someone with Salvadorian parents, I am constantly chasing the high of an authentic pupusa here in Canada. All I can say is that this place delivered on all fronts and I don’t anticipate deviating any time soon.

When you walk in, you're greeted by the kind owners who run the place. The food is amazing and authentic. (I love the yucca fries!) I'll definitely return.

Was first introduced to El Pulgarcito a few years ago and I'm so glad that they're still around! The pupusas are still as delicious as I remember them, and they're all made fresh to order.Just note that even though you're expected to get a minimum of three pupusas if you're ordering them, they're very fairly sized - you may be able to eat more or split a side if you're particularly hungry.A great gem of a restaurant hidden in plain sight!

This place is a gem, how did I not go sooner?! Ordered yuca frita and pupusas. The food was incredibly delicious and clearly made with love! The yuca (cassava) was deep fried and crispy and included chicharrón (a nice surprise). Totally unexpected, was it's pairing with pickled coleslaw and veggies, great combination. Now to the pupusas- we ordered two kinds: con todo(everything) and chicharrón y queso. Great flavour, both fillings were yummy, came with coleslaw and tomato sauce, again incredibly yummy and surprisingly tasty pairing. The owners were friendly and the service time was very reasonable. Will be back again soon!

Ordered pork and cheese pupusas and an order of the fried yuca. Delicious!Pupusas are made with corn meal and filling was generous for the price. Yuca comes with 4 pieces of AMAZING deep fried pork and some vegetables. The coleslaw and sauce that comes with it is sour and pairs perfectly with the filling food. Call ahead to order so you don't have to wait. Ate it too fast I wasn't able to take pictures! Can't wait to come back.

This low quality restaurant is run by the cashier/owner/server who is very rude and will not give anyone that is not Spanish the time of day. Even when my girlfriend who speaks Spanish called in and tried to place a large order for papusas (in spanish) with cheese and yuka he would not let us order without getting pork with the yuka (we do not eat) this is the second time this has happened and the owner is very stubborn and will not sell you yuka by itself. Very garbage accommodations and i will continue to leave bad reviews until this is addressed. Also perhaps clean the tables or the floor once in a while the place looks like its never seen a mop.
