What a treat! A friend stopped by and shared some truly delightful mochi. On the outside, they were deceptively simple, but the moment you bite in, a burst of flavor-filled joy completely takes over. It’s a pretty cramped place. There’s no space for you to browse and pick what you want while people are lining up inside. It’s almost like you need to decide ahead what to buy and just tell them. Their egg tarts and “wife” cakes are really good though.
Probably down to personal taste preference but found the egg tart filling quite water downed tasting. The wife pastries were too sweet. The Cantonese chicken cookies were too were way too oily. 3 stars when fresh.
