I've driven past for years and finally visited this restaurant. I purchased a breaded veal on a bun with peppers and provolone cheese, and a brio to drink.
Food was great and the price was amazing, much more affordable than the bigger franchise style sandwich shops.
I then went back later that same week and purchased takeout for dinner. I purchased arrancini (rice balls), another veal sandwich, and some pastries.
All delicious and well prepared items.
The parking lot is a little small and you may have to wait to find a spot or park up the street and walk over.

We've had our Corporate events from Francesca's a few times and each time the food and service have been OUTSTANDING! As an Italo-Canadian, I find it hard to find truly authentic Italian food anywhere in the city...but Francesca's is a true gem!
You will not be disappointed with ANY of the food choices you make. Their portion sizes are generous, the food is very tasty and leaves you wanting more. Make sure you wear your stretchy pants!
I've collaborated with Maria who has been very helpful in providing advice on quantity; combinations of food and more. As well, I asked for a last minute Sfoglia cake - which she graciously accommodated. Usually, you would need to order this in advance - but Maria came through! And...the guests who attended our event were left overcome with emotion; citing this as the BEST Sfoglia they've had!
Thank you Maria and Francesca's Italian Bakery! We love your food and will be back for more!

We order their Nutella cake. It is one of the best cakes you can get in GTA and their pricing is very fair.
Catered for a birthday party. Food was amazing. Will be back.

Our wedding cake was half Ferrero Rocher and half Strawberry Shortcake, and both flavours were incredible. It looked stunning, tasted amazing, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about it. You can really tell it was made with care and quality. Highly recommend!

I've been goin here for over 15yrs. Love the variety of their daily diff lunches &everything is always fresh, so fresh that people start buying around 10:30am. Love their pastas, but miss their mixed roasted veggies that they used to have. What I do love so much is their soup, especially any home-made cream soup they make such as cream of vegetable, crm of chicken corn chowder, seafood/clam chowder.. Also all the regular older staff are so accommodating &friendly. Fabio is very nice and not stuck up even though he's family/owner. His Brother too is very humble & hard-working. Angelo (their Papa) is one hard-working fine honest and good example to everyone. Their competition is Lamanna's which I don't find anything close to Francesca as Lamanna's Lasagne is huge however around 12 layers of noodles they use which isn't impressive as there is hardly any cheese or meat in between which I'd call cheating...and therefore it tastes very plain & bland lacking the true lasagne ingredients such as ricotta, mozzerella, ground beef, sauce w/ herbs. Also when you order a cake at Lamanna's, be prepared to get disappointed as they don't know how to make a chiffon spongy moist cake, there's is more of a heavy pound cake which was a waste. Francesca are more detailed-oriented and pay more attn to taste instead of volume whereas Lamanna's its only about volume and profit!
Keep up the Good Work Guys....Your regular Customer, Eliza

Food is great but the staff is extremely rude every time I come in which is sad as a repeat customer - would give zero stars for service if I could.

I was there for my first time and tried the veal sandwich. The veal was a small piece and paper thin. Hardly any toppings (mushrooms & peppers). All I tasted was the bread. It does not compare to other bakeries with hot tables. Suggestion: if you are going to sell veal sandwiches then make sure veal is in the sandwich!!! That will be my last time!

The overpriced tiny croissant and the expresso that tasted like water and the icing on the cake was the creepy guy selling air vents talking loud on the phone right next to us when all the tables were empty, staff ignored the fact I complained only because he’s a regular. Never again Francesca …

I ordered a birthday cake which was disappointing. I ordered a chocolate cake and it was vanilla. We did not like the cake
Great food. Get the baguettes and arancini. Parking the only real issue, might have to wait a bit

Been around forever and hopefully will stay forever! Italian bakeries and stores are what everyone wants! Not more fast food franchises servicing low quality bar style trash.
