I picked up a New York-style cheesecake from Gerhard's for my mother-in-law's birthday. When doing my research for best cheesecakes in Scarborough, Gerhard's popped up a few times so I figured I'd give it a try. The cheesecake was a hit! Would definitely recommend. 👍
We dropped in around 1:30. The place was empty. The decor has a quaint, dated grandmother’s house feel to it. The lady working there was very friendly. We ordered the quiche and soup. There was a vegetarian and regular quiche option. I think it was $11.95. I do think crackers should come with the soup. The food tasted good. The lady working there, looks like she’s working alone. I think the reason why it didn't taste very good was because i didn't chill the cake in the fridge long enough,
I just ate some left overs that i kept in the fridge over the weekend and it tasted much better compared to when i just bought it.
