Alghadeer Restaurant in Toronto is truly one of a kind! The food, service, and atmosphere are all outstanding. Every dish we tried was full of authentic flavor from the juicy shawarma and tender mixed grill to the fresh hummus and warm, soft bread. Everything tasted freshly made and perfectly seasoned.

What makes Alghadeer even more special is its owner, Ali. He’s one of the most welcoming and genuine people you’ll meet. He treats every guest like family and makes sure everyone leaves happy and satisfied. You can really feel the passion he puts into his restaurant — from the quality of the food to the way he greets customers personally.

The restaurant is clean, cozy, and always has a great vibe. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular, Ali and his team make you feel at home every single time.

Ghadir Meat & Restaurant on Lawrence Ave. East in Scarborough is a must-visit spot for anyone craving authentic Middle Eastern food and top-quality meats. Their wide selection of dishes is impressive, and everything is prepared with great care and flavor. I tried their chicken shawarma and the chicken shawarma plate—both were absolutely delicious, tender, and packed with the perfect blend of spices. But what truly makes this place special is the outstanding service provided by the staff, especially Mohammed and Maya.

Mohammed was super hospitable, polite, and professional from the moment I walked in. He made sure my food was up to the highest standards and checked in to ensure everything was perfect. His genuine smile and customer-first attitude made the dining experience even better. Maya, on the other hand, was calm, composed, and handled everything with grace and professionalism. Together, they created a warm and welcoming environment that made me feel truly valued as a customer.

It’s rare to find such a great combination of amazing food and exceptional service. Mohammed and Maya are the reason I would love to visit Ghadir Meat & Restaurant again and again. They truly represent what great hospitality should be.

One hour 45 minute to pick up our food ! Horrible operation! The worst I have seen ! The quality of food has dropped down big time. I think the restaurant is under a new management ! Table is dirty. Washroom is awful. No one is Clening terrible terrible experience.! I rather go to McDonald’s ! Never again

Nice, tried family shawarma platter not high quality but still fine

I don’t recommend it at all. Some of the people working there are terrible bad.

Never follow instructions, strange nothing T Lebanese about the shwarma, not toasted soggy and the meat look burned and in small piece shredded wasn’t sure if it was beef or chicken!! Shocked how bad the food and the service is wow. Twice in a row now, all notes and instructions are ignored n7na mesh be Lebnen 3yb walaw

Ghadir never disappoints. Been coming here for 8 years and it’s still amazing. Food is always fresh and is good quality. The gentleman making the shawarma are always friendly. Only down side is that I went into the washroom today and it wasn’t clean, there was also flies on the washroom 🫣

ordered 2 (beef) shawarmas and was given chicken i used to go all the time for shawarmas because the saj bread they use... they are no longer using saj bread and using regular pita not to mention the shawarmas are no longer large they are tiny. save your money go to ZEIN accross the street.

This place is a hidden gem to have bbq chicken in Scarborough Area. Whole chicken with pita bread and garlic is just amazing. Their taste is pretty consistent all the time and Price is very reasonable as well.

They also have a separate section for seafood dishes, a grocery section and a bakery where you can get fresh bread. I’ve been there multiple times and will continue to visit this place for the foreseeable future.

Place is a like a middle eastern market store. Service is okay, but food (fresh made, butcher, and grocery) provide so many options.

Order at counter and bring your bill to the food guys. I got double meat. Was spicy and tasty (I got spicy garlic).

Thanks to the manager / owner who got me the chocolate eclair himself. It’s busy and a bit chaotic. But fun. Great Arab atmosphere.
