Gladiator Burger Scarborough

The food was great. I dined in here with a couple of friends around 9 and there was plenty of seating and parking. I got the gladiator burger with an extra patty, mushrooms, extra cheese, a fried egg, grilled cheese buns, and bacon. We also got a poutine to go with our meal. The cashier was very friendly, opting me to modify that burger (Gladiator) because they don't sell the General Maximus anymore. The price came out to $37.30 for that and a canned coke. The price is reasonable, I've definitely been charged more for similar servings at different restaurants. I am happy with the experience.

We went to Gladiator Burger and decided to try the onion rings for the first time — never again. As soon as we opened the onion ring box, we were shocked to find a large piece of metal/steel right on top. Not buried, not hidden — just right there in plain sight.

It was absolutely disgusting. What if we hadn’t noticed and actually ate it? That could’ve caused serious injury. There’s clearly no proper food safety or quality control happening in that kitchen.

This kind of negligence is unacceptable. We lost our appetite immediately and honestly still feel sick thinking about it. We won’t be coming back, and we’ll be warning others too.

Best burger I've had in a long time, cheese fries with bacon were very good. But I will ask for cheese on the side next time, maybe a little too much. The Chicken tenders were so moist and tasty. We will definitely go back
