Food was ok. The waffles taste a but different now compared to the ones we get before, it’s not as eggy anymore.

Service was so slow and mind you, we’re the only customers there. I think the person doing our order was a trainee because we did have to redo our waffles to get the right one. Because of that, i'm gonna give a leeway & staying neutral for service review.

Atmosphere was bubbly, and they have claw machines in case you wanna play while waiting(you need coins). This is more of a take out only chain, no tables. Please keep that in mind. (EDIT: the machines have been removed as per the acct's statements)

EDIT: Thank you for your response and for letting me know the current changes of the store. I appreciate that you care enough to respond to reviews like these in order to listen and better your store. Although I would appreciate it if it wasn't done in a passive aggressive manner. As per my statement, it is in fact true that I do post a few of my reviews for after some time due to security reasons (very rare), and I would usually post an approximate date on it if I do. So apologies on that since i forgot. Just know that when we went there, there was indeed a machine during that time. I still have photos and time stamps of it on my end, so you got the date wrong. I try to be fair for my ruling/review at all times, and I do admit that I forgot to put a timestamp earlier as this is one of the few rare occasions I posted a late review (again, due to security reasons). Despite of that, I do believe that I still have the right to post my own experience and review during MY time of visit. Thank you.

If you're a dessert lover with a soft spot for cookies and cream, Golden Bubbles’ Oreo Cookie Monster is a must-try treat! Excellent service from the employee named, Dayle! Will be back again!

It was busy but everyone was fast and efficient regardless the many takeout orders. Dayle specially was amazing with our orders. My boys loved it. It’s been a while since we’ve been back.

Looking forward to visit you guys again.

Golden Bubble in Scarborough offers one of the best bubble waffles I’ve ever had. The variety they offer is impressive, and each waffle we tried was a perfect blend of flavor. The crispiness of the waffle combined with the creamy, sweet toppings made for a delightful treat that I could indulge in over and over again. Their selection caters to all tastes, whether you prefer something fruity, chocolaty, or even with a touch of savory.

A special shoutout to Dayle, who served us our waffle. She was really cute, had a warm, friendly attitude, and even posed for some pictures with the waffles. It added a nice personal touch to the experience. The overall vibe at Golden Bubble is relaxed, and it’s a great place to enjoy a sweet treat with friends or family. I highly recommend this spot to any bubble waffle lover!

The service is awful! And the food no way can be compared with itself in the past. We came 10 mins before closing today, and when walked-in, we were greeted with sighs :) anyway, while waiting for our order, 2 of the girls was talking loudly and caught our attention. That’s when we noticed they were talking with someone on the phone, the thing is, the girl who on the phone the whole time was scooping(or playing with) the ice-cream had her face closely to the opened ice-cream fridge made me felt like she might spit onto the ice-creams anytime ? what worse is, she was playing the ice-cream like she was playing with clay since she seems like she can’t make a proper scoop of ice cream, it looked to disgusting that i had to changed the flavor, but she still used her finger to press the ice-cream while scooping. Totally lost my appetite ?. And I ordered a full size, but the ice cream was so little and there were only 3 pieces of banana. Whatever we had today is no way can be compared to what i had before. I’ve been customer with this place since 2019 and the owner has always been a nice gentleman, but I’m really disappointed that the place turns out like this. Hope you can do something to improve service, food quality and hygiene awareness!

First time trying this place… the lady in front of me ordered and then we ordered among her order being made the guy with the long hair messed up the order so he told her he had to re make it as she was waiting outside and be presumed to eat the wrong waffle that was made which was fine but then also covered his mouth with his hand while he ate and USED THE SAME GLOVE to assemble back her waffle. Not hygienic at all.. the store can check there camera footage it happened at 9:06pm

The waffle was not cooked properly and very soggy. They gave me a very small scoop of ice cream that tasted stale. Spend your money somewhere else. Service is not great either.

Was not impressed with my visit to this location.
I had paid 6:56 pm. The time from waiting to order, placing the order, until pick up was nearly 1 hour. Really? I did not order any of the speciality items. This is for 2 plain waffles. This is the most basic item on your menu. The pictures speak for themselves. They were flimsy as if undercooked? Only 1 out of the 2 was warm to touch through the bag. I do not know how old it was. When I was told it was my order one was already sitting on the counter. If you cannot make the base of all of your food product well, I am not sure why you are in this business.
For context, I had placed an order at another place on the same side of the plaza 4 doors down. Then had gone to order the waffles. When I arrived back to pick up my order, my companions, while waiting for me, ended up eating at this place, and had finished their food when I returned back!
I would like to kindly ask for a refund.
