Too bad their service is so bad! The food is great if you don’t mind waiting 30 minutes to pay. Needless to say, what a waste of time!

My first time here. My experience was altogether positive. I am coming from Markham so it is a bit of a journey. Had the Solo meals of Grilled Tilapia with rice with Atchara, and Grilled Squid with rice and Atchara. I thought it was pretty good. Perhaps a glaze /rub/ marinade may be considered? I think if a more substantial side dish / drink would be nice to be included. The service was friendly and mannerly. Also bought some Assorted Kakasin( BIko) and some Coconut Jelly strings. I am familiar with Filipino Foods as I have had friends and Co-workers who were from there, and was introduced to the culture, but I am not an expert critic. But, Yeah, I will be returning. Thanks. Good experience

Have had to update my review. Have been here 5x now. 2x have found strips of plastic in the grilled squid. The Assorted Kakanin turned moldy after one day, it was supposed to last for 4 days according the the date on packaging. Food is usually good though. Perhaps a quality control issue?

Your Filipino fast food, grilled dishes like the pork barbecue, squid, chicken. Also serving filipino comfort foods. Many choices and taste good. On the pricey side though.

This food stall is located inside Seafood City, a popular Filipino grocery store. There's a large dining area with bar height community tables and regular dining tables. There was a long lineup for ordering food. They do have a good system where each person would handle one of the stations. The food looked fresh and appetizing. The bbq station had pork and chicken bbq skewers, grilled squid, chicken inasal, grilled pork belly, mackerel, tilapia, and stuffed bangus. We ordered 2 value meal $14.99 which came 1 bbq skewer and choice of classic entree from the hot table. The value meal also came with atchara, which is pickled turnips and carrots. The entree we got was some sort of veggies called kilawin. The other entree was dinuguan, which is pork blood stew.We also got solo meal #2 $13.50 grilled whole squid with steamed rice.Overall, the food came up to $50 tax included. It's very pricey for a food court stall. The food wasn't the greatest. The squid lacked seasoning and didn't have the bbq grilled taste. You need to pour the vinegar on top to bring out the flavours. I wish the squid had more tomatoes and onions stuffed inside. The pork bbq was cooked but had a chewy texture. The meat was not marinated long enough to absorb the bbq seasoning. The clerk dipped the sticks in a sauce to make sure it's not dry. Overall, the bbq sticks were disappointing. The entrees were ok but the portion sizes that come with the value meals are tiny. If you're looking to get the best bang for your buck, i would probably look at their bbq or seafood platters for $39.99. Keep in mind rice is not included with the platters. The experience was underwhelming here at Grill City. I might give them another chance maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen.

Has a variety of filipino dishes and bbq available. Usually has a line up, very slow service but friendly staff.Food is alright, but the PRICES........ to buy dishes a la carte (not in combos) is overpriced for the portion they give, in very small containers. Compared to smaller filipino stores/restaurants in scarborough i find these prices unreasonable. Their bbq pork/chicken is OK, could barely taste any bbq sauce, very watered down.I recommend going to other smaller filipino stores, food is better, much cheaper and better value for your money

I’ve been waiting for their response regarding the accuracy of the receipt of 6 bbq skewers pork and 6 of the bbq chicken that my friend bought for me on Dec. 27 2022.Really bad impression for sure , you lost several customers! See the receipt attached.

This is a takeout counter in a food court inside Seafood City supermarket, on Southside of Eglinton Town Centre. It's on the right as you enter the supermarket. There are 2 other takeout places and plenty of tables and chairs for dine-in. I'm not familiar with many of the menu items but they seem pricey. It's must be good, or service is slow because the lineup is to the supermarket entrance doors.

Big place. I believe this is a franchise as there's another one in Mississauga.Didn't buy anything. Items I wanted were kinda pricey. But lots of yummy looking food.

We bought pork barbeque, ginataang kalabasa, and leche flan here because it's our go-to place for Filipino food. I like their pork bbq, but it has a lot of fat in it, which I don't eat, but the ginataang kalabasa is delicious. The downside is the leche flan, which is not creamy at all and does not taste like leche flan, and the caramel is also not good. I believe they are adding egg whites to save money on food, which is why the leche flan is a bit hard and not creamy.
