Not sure if there are other servers at this Kingston Rd location, but on each visit, there’s always this one guy doing all the running. He gives good service and does his best! Service is quick and their big portions of Haddock with Sweet Potato Fries and Coleslaw makes it outstanding! The ambience is spacious and clean. It is a short walking distance from a parish for a Sunday lunch.

Ordered delivery for dinner. Calamari, Haddock and chips.Calamari was very small portion. Too crisp/hard and calamari not good quality. disappointing. Fish was very limp and crust or batter remained uncooked. The fries were very oily and cooked in very old and poor quality oil. The oil had a bad odour. The potatoes were very poor quality and not fresh. The potatoes left a bitter and sour taste in the mouth. Disappointingly very bad food. Had to throw most of it away.

Winston was taking care of use & he was awesome. The food came out hot and fresh. We ordered the halibut & haddock. Both were good, but I preferred the halibut more. Our table ordered a lot more but I wanted to specifically call out that the haddock was great. I was also a fan of the coleslaw. I highly recommend. Thanks Winston & Halibut House. We’ll definitely come back.

Went for takeout and was surprised how good the fish and chips were. Halibut fish was super tasty and portion was generous. When you order second fish and chips dinner, they give you 50% off.Son had a poutine, which was massive.Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back again.

About this place, the fish and the coleslaw were delicious. On the other hand, the fries were bland and had no flavour. Not only that, but you also get a ton of them. I had to get shake salt over the fries to make them taste 50% better, and couldn’t finish the whole box, due to the large portions they have. If anyone is looking for a place to get fish and chips, I wouldn’t recommend going to this place. Although the fish is good, it is also a big piece likewise the amount of fries they give you. Not a healthy choice to get food from. Go find a place where they have the right amount for your appetite.
