The food is so flavourful and spicy which is a plus for me! Service is straightforward and quick. I don’t need fancy personalized service. Washrooms could be cleaner. Overall, definitely coming back for the food.

Good to check it out the menu, they have different hotpot option. And the rice bowl is really good too! Must try too.

Good value, excellent service. When one has to come early for a seat, one knows that's the right restaurant.

I rated it a 3 due to its value and the options available for customers. I believe this place is best suited for groups of at least four because the pot is huge! Even with five of us, we couldn't finish it! If we hadn’t ordered other dishes, we definitely could have finished it, but we wanted to try a variety. Coming with just two people isn’t ideal, as the meal would be quite pricey if you want to sample different dishes, and you’ll likely end up with a lot of leftovers to take home. I wish they offered half portions; that seems like it would be easy to do. I'm not sure why they don’t have that option. I would definitely go back more often if it were available.

I've been to the Richmond Hill location a few times, but this was my first visit to the Scarborough location. There are two locations in the area, but only one serves the pepper pork tripe chicken pot, and we initially went to the wrong one. The staff was friendly. We ordered the signature pepper pork tripe chicken pot (cash price) for $63.88, Sweet and Sour Pork ($17.99), and two Casserole Rice dishes for five people. I forgot to take a photo of the four kinds of reserved meats casserole rice ($18.99) and can’t remember what the second casserole rice was that we ordered. Overall, the casserole rice was just average, but we mainly came for the pepper pork tripe chicken pot, which was still delicious!

Very disappointed with how the restaurant handles their sign-up system. The waiter at the front didn’t seem to use the tablet properly — people who came after us were seated first. We were told there were only 4 tables ahead of us, but I counted at least 6–8 tables being seated before we got ours. Ended up waiting over an hour just for “4 tables ahead.” Really unprofessional and frustrating experience.

The food was tasty and had big portion.I came here with my family and we ordered a lot.
We were surprised by the flavor, but the environment was very noisy and hot.We even couldn’t hear each other.
I do hope the host could turn down the air conditioning and music.

Have been going to this place just for their signature Pepper Pork Belly Chicken Hotpot. You should try the soup first before adding the chicken into it. There’s a whole chicken that comes with the hotpot.

The price is not the cheapest, but the portion is big and can easily feeds a party of 4, so you are making your money worth it. My boyfriend and I are splitting it into 2/3meals.

The ginger onion dipping sauce has so much flavour and goes very well with the chicken.

The cherry on top is one of the waitresses who went above and beyond. She offered to change our plates when it’s filled with bones and our dinner was awesome because of her service. She even offered me more ginger onion sauce to take away home. 🥹

We went on a Monday night so you can basically walk-in. However, make sure you have a reservation before you go on weekends as it can get very crowded. Also, make sure that you bring cash or debit (there’s a discount if you pay via cash).

The used to serve hotpot, but not any more. The hotpot service moved to another location on hwy 7. So we only ordered some noodles and clay pot rice. The food is good, but price is bit high even after we ordered buy 2 get 1 free and cash only.

Don’t come here unless you speak mandarin. I went for dinner today at around 7 and it was the worst restaurant service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve came here several times and know most workers speak mandarin and only a handful speaks Cantonese, so my family was confident in speaking with the staff in Cantonese. I have asked one of the ladies if they spoke english because the language barrier was getting too complicated. That sever gave me the death stare and communicated with so much attitude. She would give me the dirtiest and nastiest look every time she walked past us. They got our order wrong and charged us extra but because of the hostile workers we didn’t even bother. No one was patient with us, all the workers that came to us treated us with so much disgust. The food wasn’t good enough for us to look past this interaction. I will be posting and sharing my experience online. DONT COME HERE. I have truly never felt so disrespected in a restaurant before.
