This isnt my first time coming here for pizza. Every time I order pizza they get something wrong.. Last time it was burned, okay let's give them another chance.. now looks at the video I provided.. they took my order and they asked me to come back in 30 minutes.. they said we didn't have salami meat and we made you pizza without it, why didn't you call me and ask if I wanted something else ??? Ridiculous! it's cheap for a reason.. again it's a RIP OFF FOR WHAT THEY ARE GIVING YOU. Pizza pizza, regions pizza are low quality and cheap too but they are 100% better than these guys.. don't waste your money!!! Go SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hunter’s Hutt, and the experience was truly enjoyable from start to finish. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between cozy and upscale, with rustic décor that gave it a charming, welcoming feel.

The service was excellent—staff were friendly, attentive, and well-informed about the menu. Our server offered thoughtful recommendations and made sure we were comfortable throughout the evening.

The food was the highlight of the night. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavour. The lamb and chicken souvlaki was a standout—tender, well-seasoned, and served with hearty sides that complemented it perfectly. Portions were generous, and presentation was spot-on.

Pricing felt fair for the quality and portion sizes, and the overall vibe made it suitable for both a relaxed dinner and a special night out.

Hunter’s Hutt is definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a warm, memorable dining experience. I’ll absolutely be returning.

So disappointing! $23 for this. Unbelievable. Other pictures of this same meal do not look like this. I haven’t even taken one bite yet

I visited this restaurant around 3:20 PM, well within their posted hours of 7 AM to 9 PM. Despite the “open” sign being lit, I was told by staff that they were closed and would reopen at 4 PM. I returned at 4 and again at 4:30, but the doors remained locked. One staff member was visibly inside but did not respond when I knocked. It’s disappointing and confusing to display an open sign and post business hours when the restaurant is not actually serving guests.

Pizza takeout was good quality. Good amount of ingredients they put on the pizza. Good value as well.

Casual dining restaurant for family or singles. Delicious chicken parm here. Got my fish Friday today. Fish and fries are delish! Haddock Fish is really fresh. Fries are so crispy and well seasoned. Yum ❣️😀 their servers are always great. I highly recommend!

Ill begin with the good - the atmosphere itself was beautiful, and very welcoming. Very nice decorative elements. However, the lack of other diners was a red flag from the beginning. After all though, it was a Monday night when I visited with my two friends. Honestly, Im embarrassed to have recommended trying this place out.

Now onto the bad...
I had only got an appetizer, and decided I would eat nothing else beyond that. I ordered the calamari, which was very obviously frozen, and possibly outdated. It did not taste or seem fresh at all. I told the staff and they took my pop off of the bill, I am appreciative of that.

My one friend got the liver and mashed potatoes, and when served, her meal was cold, so Chef Mike (the microwave) was used to reheat the food.

My other friend got the steak with mashed potatoes and requested it to be medium. It was served well done and she felt the texture of the steak was low quality, and possibly also made from frozen.

Finally, the staff were interesting. They seemed afraid of us, which was odd, and just seemed anxious. When we expressed concerns to the 2 waitresses who served us, they said it was their first day/first day back after being away for some time. Just felt odd.

We were very friendly about our complaints, no disrespect just honest discontentment was expressed.

Although the prices were cheap, I wouldn't go back for such low-quality food. I expect better standards from a locally-owned small business. You're competing with fast food, which everyone knows is gross, and also everything is made from frozen.

If you want to run a successful local restaurant, you have to source fresh, good ingredients. Reducing your menu would make people feel less overwhelmed, and keep that restaurant packed. I hope one day I will return to a higher quality level of food service.

Nestled at the bustling corner of Huntingwood Square and Birchmount Road, Hunter’s Hut is a restaurant that brings a sense of warmth and comfort to every dining experience. When a group of us decided to have lunch there, we were met with a delightful ambiance that instantly made us feel at home.

Upon entering, I was greeted with a friendly smile that set the tone for the entire meal. The server, exceptionally attentive and genuinely warm, made us feel welcome and cared for. Her conversational nature truly enhanced our experience, making it seem less like dining out and more like spending time with family.

Originally an Italian restaurant, Hunter’s Hut has recently undergone a transformation under new management, though the charm of the establishment remains intact. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, adorned with traditional decor that reflects its rich heritage. Plus, the restaurant is well-maintained, ensuring that every corner invites you to sit back and relax.

The menu at Hunter’s Hut offers a delightful variety of traditional Italian dishes, catering to a diverse palate. From classic Souvlaki meals to hearty breakfast options, each dish is crafted with care and dedication. Whether you’re in the mood for a comforting breakfast or a satisfying lunch, Hunter’s Hut has something to satisfy your cravings.

One of the standout features of this lovely restaurant is its ample parking availability, making it easy for guests to stop by without the hassle of searching for a spot.

In conclusion, if you find yourself yearning for a delicious meal in a warm, inviting atmosphere, I wholeheartedly recommend Hunter’s Hut. It’s a place where you can enjoy a lovely breakfast with friends, all while basking in the comfort of a traditional dining experience. Don’t miss out on this charming restaurant; it truly is a hidden gem in the heart of Huntingwood Square!

Over the past 6 months, we have enjoyed breakfast ( weekends) each week.

Ordered a fish and chips. The fries were great, but the fish was a complete miss. It was a super cheap and thin slice of basa filet that you can buy frozen for $1.99/lb from an asian grocer. Considering the batter was thicker than the fish, and that basa filet more often than not has some off putting odors, the fish was leaning more towards the side of bad.

The whole restaurant smelt faintly of weed, although I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt on this one since there's an unfortunately located weed shop two storefronts down from them.
