This is hands down one of the best authentic Hunan restaurants I’ve found in Toronto!
The owner does all the cooking — real wok-fried dishes, no pre-made stuff. You can tell each dish is cooked with care because they all have distinct flavors — it’s not that “every dish tastes the same” kind of place. Super rare to find that nowadays!
We tried the smoked beef with bamboo shoots and the stir-fried yellow beef — both were amazing....

The taste is first-rate, the dishes are excellent, the ingredients are handled very cleanly and there are few side dishes, the main dishes are generous, the boss is very handsome, like Wang

New Restaurant on pharmacy and mcnicoll in scarborough/toronto. I think the store originally was a boardgame store in a different unit but now just a restaurant.
They specialize in hubei/hunan food 湖北菜 so its more spicy and fatty but super flavorful.
Overall i think everything taste great, it is slightly more oily, but just a little dab dab and its all good.
