Since it was our first time there, the staff kindly helped us choose from the menu, which we really appreciated. The restaurant has a very nice, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. Our server recommended the beef ribs and chicken breast cutlets, and we also added the goat ribs. We ordered the sports size platter for three people, and it was more than perfect. Everything was served properly, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. Honestly, everything was on point. So far, this is the best Somali/East African restaurant we’ve tried. Highly recommended!

Very unprofessional place. I waited almost 3 hours for my order, and when I asked for an update, no one could give a clear answer. Staff clearly has no idea what they’re doing, and some even looked sick.

I was very disappointed with the service at IBY Restaurant. The staff showed little respect or attention to customers, and the waiting time for orders was far too long. Good food and a welcoming attitude go hand in hand, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve customer service and efficiency.
I had one of the worst dining experiences at Iby Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the service was slow and dismissive. It took forever just to get menus, and when the food finally arrived, it was cold, flavorless, and clearly not fresh. For the prices they charge, the quality was unacceptable. But what really shocked me was how disrespectful the owner was. When we calmly voiced our concerns, instead of addressing the issue, they were rude, defensive, and completely unprofessional. There was no apology — just attitude. Iby might look stylish from the outside, but don't be fooled. It’s all show and no substance. Between the poor food, bad service, and unwelcoming management, I’ll never go back — and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
