Atmosphere was quiet and nice ambience. Food was amazing expect mutton bone soup which was little spicy and thick gravy type. Veg and chicken manchow soup, chicken rayalseema briyani was excellent. Ishika was serving with big smile 😀 Totally had amazing lunch for group of 12.

My wife and I ordered from uber eats, and we were extremely pleased with our order! By far the best Indian food we have had. I cannot say enough about how delicious it was. We ordered the plain rice, 2 naan, with chicken tikka masala (SO GOOD) and I chose a curry dish (can’t remember what it was called) but after eating it I realized it was possibly a curry goat of some sort-and…Amazing! Highest praise to the chefs- made our in home date night perfect.

Indraprastha was a treat for the taste buds! the chicken lollipops were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy within. The goat biryani was the star of the show – fragrant rice, tender goat, and a beautiful blend of spices that wasn't overpowering And the chicken sichuan noodles were a fantastic, comforting side that hit all the right notes. Overall, a truly satisfying meal that I'd happily recommend!

There’s no consistency, sometimes the Biryanis are good and sometimes they’re not!

Edit: you have a terrible buffet and my wife just tasted some items to see how disgusting your food is. no one came to us ever to serve a plate or water, i’m not sure what your taking about REPEATED REQYESTS NOT TO SHARE FOOD coz no one spoke to us. check your footage again and stop your arrogance, it clearly reflects when you jump into respond back to many fake 5 star ratings.
you people jump in to respond to fake 5 star reviews and for negative reviews your careless attitude and arrogance show who really are. instead of acknowledging the issue your posting nonsense here. open your eyes and look around and stop posting non sense

Absolutely Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared. I went to Indraprastha Bar and K for Mother’s Day dinner, expecting decent service and food for the price — but it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

First of all, the customer service was non-existent. There were at least 5 waiters standing around, chatting and giggling with each other, completely ignoring customers. Despite asking 4-5 times, we weren’t even given basic things like water bottles or glasses. I eventually had to walk to my car and bring my own water just so we could drink something. That alone says everything about how poorly this place is run.

As for the buffet — it was an absolute joke. Stale food, barely any items, and terrible quality. The mutton curry was just bones and gravy, and the chicken curry smelled awful. The so-called chicken pakoda looked and tasted weird, the butter naan was just plain naan, and the dal makhani was a disaster. They advertised dum biryani, but it was just flavorless colored rice.

The dessert? One gulab jamun. Yes, one, and despite repeated requests, they refused to serve more. $25 for that? Absolute rip-off. Even the Ulavacharu Chicken Biryani we ordered was below average, didn’t taste fresh and didn’t have any aroma or taste of ulavacharu.

To top it all off, the staff’s attitude was lazy, careless, and completely unprofessional. The owners seriously need to replace the entire front-of-house team if they want to survive in the cutthroat Indian restaurant scene. This place is all about cutting corners, not about hospitality or food quality.

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers.

If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine in a welcoming and vibrant setting, Indraprastha Whitby is the place to be. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that added a traditional yet modern touch to the dining experience.

We started with the soya chaap sizzler. For the entree, I opted for the butter chicken, which was rich, creamy, and indulgent. The garlic naan was soft and fluffy, complementing both dishes wonderfully.
We also had schewan noodles, good in taste and spicy.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and offering recommendations based on our tastes. The food arrived promptly, and everything was piping hot and freshly prepared.

Overall, Indraprastha Whitby exceeded our expectations with its delicious food, great service, and cozy atmosphere. It’s an excellent choice for a high-quality Indian dining experience.

Our recent visit to Indraprastha Indian Kitchen and Bar in Whitby was highly disappointing due to poor food and service. We had to repeatedly request water and cutlery, with the excuse of an upstairs party being given. The food quality was below average across the board (Manchow soup, chicken, and methi paneer). Most concerningly, we found a metal string in the soup, which the manager confirmed upon our pointing it out. While they apologized, the potential harm if ingested, especially by a child, is unacceptable. Diners should exercise caution and thoroughly check their food.

Food was delicious and amazing. Service was great. The waitress was very friendly and nice and helped us out. But, the music was too loud and they said they didn't have certain foods we wanted.

Amazing performance by pratistha on mother's Day and buffet was pretty decent but dessert options can be improved but bread halwa was really tasty. Thank you for the picture too 😇

A perfect dining experience at Indraprastha, thanks to Ram Charan’s thoughtful service. The Mutton Bone Soup, Peri-Peri Paneer, Creamy Garlic Chicken, Tandoori Momos, Nali Gosh Biryani, and Chicken Fry Pulav were all bursting with flavor and left us wanting more. Definitely a must-visit spot for food lovers!
