I recently ordered egg fried rice and string hoppers from this store, i chose this restaurant as they provide decent quantity. I packed the egg fried rice and took it to my work place, while having the food i got cockroach from the food. Now i doubt about their hygiene. As this about food safety and i felt very disappointed. I think they are not doing proper pest control.

Ordered for 6 fresh mutton rolls , it came out pretty quickly we were happy, but then realise they were not fresh. Called the store to give them the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately the nice lady said they jus fried it now, which is definetly not true. There was no steam, it was not hot, lol cold to even put my hand in the bag. 1.75 per roll... Please next time do as your costumer request.

This place is deceptive. We had called and specifically asked for fresh Vada but instead was served days old Vada. Absolutely oily and stone cold. If you want better trustworthy and honest food look elsewhere. This place has no standards unfortunately.

We recently bought String hopper(25s pack) which comes with Sodhi and Sambol, Roti/ Veechu Parotta with Chicken Curry and Chilli Chicken Kothu Roti. Everything was clean, fresh and delicious. Only one minus is that the Chilli chicken in kothu seemed to be hard and stale. Otherwise, all items were good and delicious. Reasonable prices. Pretty good Srilankan takeout in Scarborough.
