The food here is excellent. The ribs, mushkaki and mogo are yummy. The ordering and service needs work though. There is no clear menu for ordering over the phone it is just pictures on fb or old prices on google maps. The person on the phone does not repeat back the order leading to mistakes. They need to give prices as well as a final total for phone orders. Love the restaurant and we will keep coming back but they really need to figure out a better ordering system.

Never order food from jikoni restaurant it is a complete disaster. They don’t even give you anything they specify in their bbq platter. I never got the peri peri chicken or rice as they specified and their food is a disaster not worth wasting your money or time. The worst take out place.

Horrible customer service and food was very expensive and not even to the standard Ribs were dry and chicken mishkaki had no taste. Similar East African restaurants are way better than this one like Simba Grill, Suky Fine Food and Khaike Paan. Called to place my order and after a while another person at Jikoni Grill picked up my phone to add something to my order back and he ask me again about my order It seems they are not clear on their menu and also tend to forget my order and not familiar with their own menu and combos Will never place my order again as the quality of food is extremely poor

I came in when the shop was opened. The door was opened. I rang the bell twice and waited. A Guy came in and told me to go out and come after half an hour because his owner was coming and then locked the door. Disappointed. Being really hungry and seeing the not bad reviews I wanted to try from here

The best east African restaurant in town. The staff is very friendly and goes out of the way to prepare customized dishes. The food is very delicious and at a good rate. They have a variety of options in the menu to select from.
I would strongly recommend this restaurant. Go for it.
