Discovered the place last night with my friends and I’ve got to say it’s amazing. We got a classic poutine a Kunafa crepe and some teas. Our server Khadija was so friendly and so sweet, recommended these delicious dishes. I will definitely be coming back again!

Johnny Custard used to be my favourite place for ice cream and milkshakes I’d go out of my way to stop by because the desserts were great. But lately, everything has gone downhill. The cups and spoons weren’t just dirty, they looked stained. That alone should’ve been a red flag, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, the customer service was just as disappointing. One of the workers, an Asian woman (I asked for her name and she refused to give it), was shockingly rude. I asked a simple question and got attitude and eye-rolls in return. The way she spoke to me made me feel like I was a burden just for ordering. I didn’t want to make a scene, so I paid and left quietly, but I won’t be returning. It’s sad to see a place I once loved fall apart like this. Cleanliness and basic respect should not be optional in any business. Save your money there are way better dessert spots in the city that care about their customers.

We have been living in Wexford for a few years now and Johnny Custard became a classic for our family. The quality of the service and the food is great (and the prices are reasonable!). It’s a great place to spend time with your loved ones. Wexford needs more dine-in place like this!!

Visited Johnny custard on a Friday evening with my family. The interior was very clean, and we got a place to sit no problem with no wait. Ordered the apple pie, salted caramel sundae, pink shake, and cookie dough. The highlight was definitely the sundae and the apple pie. However the pie wasn’t anything special, but paired with the custard it was quite good. Overall would come back to try out the gelato!

Staff surprised me with cake along my for my birthday. Thank you for that!

I had a disappointing experience at Johnny Custard. While I accept my mistake that i did not check the allergy information on the menu, but the restaurant also failed to adequately highlight it on both sides or even when taking the order. I ordered a Biscoff cake, which, according to the ingredients, did not list chocolate, an allergen of mine. However, the cake contained white chocolate. When I raised my concern, the server initially denied it had any chocolate. After informing her of my allergy, she consulted the manager, Juel, who was dismissive and claimed it was my mistake for not notifying them earlier. Despite my situation, they refused to offer a replacement, which I found unprofessional. I couldn’t eat that and it was a total waste of money. While I take responsibility for my part, the lack of accountability and empathy from the staff was disappointing. As someone with experience in the food industry, I understand the importance of customer service, and this experience fell short. I will not return or recommend the establishment.

My wife and I came in on a Saturday evening, was greeted by this kind lady named Khadija, she really was one of the best servers we’ve had in a while. She recommended the Chocolate Kunafa Brownie, we absolutely loved it and would recommend anyone to try it. The Milk Trifle Truffle Cake was also top tier. 10/10 experience.
