Got a Chestnut Earl Grey Chiffon cake, a Cream Choux - Yuzu and Cream Choux - Ube Cheesecake: all three were really good. The flavours were amazing esp the Yuzu.

A bit on the sweeter side. Taro, Earl gray, and Matcha would be the not too sweet options.

Very helpful staff and VERY fresh products.Will be shopping there again. Pastries/Cakes in display make you want to try all of them.

First time trying these and they tasted so good. I loved that they are sweet but also not too sweet. My favourites are definitely the mango and ube flavours.

Kanae Cafe is a delight to visit and the Japanese cream choux pastries are scrumptious! Looked like there's more than a dozen flavours and it's hard to pick just a few.

I would prefer the choux pastries to have a slight crunch, hence one star off (I wonder if the cream on top softens the pastry?).

Nevertheless, the pastries we picked all tasted amazing and the flavours mixed well together. Like the combination of pistachio cream with raspberry jam- that pretty much hit the spot. Ube cheesecake was also nice. The cream filling isn't overwhelming at all and is quite enjoyable.

We tried two cake slices, chocolate and black sesame, as that was all that's left for the day. The cakes were light and airy and went well with tea.
Looking forward to trying other flavours.

Their offerings are on the pricier side, but worth it taste-wise and a special treat. Glad to have discovered this place :-)

It’s really delicious Japan’s Pastry’s clean and not too sweet, beautiful design cake , ? cake and coffee cream ??tea cream all made with the best ingredients.

We tried the Nama chocolate & Pistachio raspberry cream choux and both are tasty. The cappuccino also pairs well with the pastries.

A buttery sensation right when you walk in! The flavours are fresh tasting for their choux, and their cakes are fluffy and creamy. My favourite choux are the jasmine, pistachio, and hazelnut. The cakes I would go with the black sesame, yuzu cheesecake, and the chestnut.

You know it’s great when it’s “not too sweet” but still has the great aromas and flavours you expect!

Black sesame cake here was just right. Would come back for birthday cakes and their coffee was on point.
