This place is tucked in the corner of a small plaza behind the gas station. I'm going to be honest, food was great, but I'm rating this place low because of the service. The service was SO bad. Entering the restaurant, it looks like a take out restaurant, but behind the restaurant, there are plenty of tables and seats. The decor was actually pretty nice. The waitress was just a complete grump during our visit. She didn't respond to us when we asked for something, and even when we ordered, she didn't even bother to acknowledge us, and just overall made our dining experience terrible. Food wise, the dishes and portions are big and flavours are good. I ordered the Smoked Chili Fried Rice w/ Veggie & Tofu ($12.95). This dish wasn't spicy at all, but the flavours were nice. I also ordered the spring rolls ($5.95) and a Thai Iced Tea ($4.25). My party of 6 all enjoyed their food. The only complaint was the service. It was just so bad. My advice is to just do take out. If you pay cash for take out, it's 10% off.

What happened!?We have been coming to this place for years and always impressed with the quality of the food. But the last two times within the month have been very disappointing . The curry is extremely watered down, the pad prik chicken barely has chicken- feels like mostly fried dough. The pad Thai is very very sweet and feel like it’s missing sth from what it used to be.Don’t know what happened, but please don’t skimp out on the quality!

This place used to provide quality food, I ordered last week , curry was water down . Food quality is bad , I would not recommend it . They must have cheap on the quality and increased the price as well

The food is really sweet. The curry was sweet. The pad Thai was sweet. The curry was also very thin, so even though it came in a larger container then other places, it just felt like more water was added. The potato was also still on the firm side. The pad Thai also lacked wok hei and the beef was poorly cooked. The shrimp donuts are good though. Tastes like the crab claw from Chinese wedding banquets.

Without a doubt one of the top authentic Thai restaurants in northern Scarborough (which is really hard to find). This place is so iconic in its odd location: adjacent to a no-name gas station. Everytime I mention this place to friends, I tell them to look for the gas station as a marker. That being said, the place is run by absolutely lovely people, and the green and panang curry here that I've tried rank among the top 10 that I've tried in Toronto. Space is clean, and parking is convenient. Overall, a very decent spot to visit!

Came here for Valentine's Lunch.. place was empty with just one server .Service was so so...but we love the food here..it's fresh just the right amount of spice and good flavours. Would give it 5 stars if the service was better.

I live in downtown but I don't find authentic Thai there. I've figured out that that places outside Toronto actually do them the Thai way (I've had Thai when I traveled to Bangkok).Their nam Tok salad was excellent, the dressing was all lemon juice and not just sweet sour sauce, the beef slices were tender. The smoked chili fried rice (shrimp paste base) was excellent too! I had them as mild as they could make, as I don't do chilli. Definitely coming back at the next opportunity!

Food is ok, a little too sweet compared to Thai food I used to eat. Service is so so. :D

My all time favorite. Personally, I can’t do too much spicy and they added more coconut milk to my green curry, which I really appreciate. Their shrimp donuts and holly basil dishes are also very authentic!

Felt like ordering thai food today, and settled on Kub Khao. It took a while for me to get home with the food, so I'm sure that affected my opinion on how it tasted. When I bit into the spring rolls, there wasn't enough filling-it felt like there was more crunch than actual food. The curry was very good- it came in a container because I ordered pick-up, and I was very happy to see that the curry stayed contained and didn't spill. The pad thai was good- there was a decent amount of veggies (which sometimes you don't see when you order from other stores). Overall, I was very happy with what I got. Would definitely consider eating here again :)

Finally tried this place out and WOW I am so glad I did. I got the green curry with chicken and my girlfriend got the veggie pad Thai. Both dishes were very flavourful and we did not feel thirsty after. The chicken in my curry was not dry at all! Some places I had it’s kinda dry. We also got their Thai milk tea and it was very good too, just a little sweet but that’s all Thai milk tea with condensed milk.I would definitely come back to try more items on their menu!

I went there for lunch, had a pad thai that was part of a lunch set with some tomyum soup. Great price, large portion.

Would you ever expect to find a really good Thai restaurant next to a gas station Scarborough? I certainly wouldn't have, but nonetheless here I was trying this place. Entering into the restaurant I was a little apprehensive, being next to a gas station in Scarborough and all, but as i entered the place was definitely legitimate. They took us to a room out back, and not for what you would normal expect in a back room at a gas station, and seated us in a lovely room with nice paintings like the one of the King of Thailand. We ordered Thai Ice Tea and Thai Ice coffee to being with and the drinks were delicious! My wife had the pineapple curry and I had the Pad Kee Mao and they were both delicious. The flavours blended well, and they really seemed to care about the food that they made. I enjoyed the ambiance, and the service was pretty decent. I think this might be the best Thai place in Scarborough I can think of. Definitely worth a return visit.

Really good Thai cuisine. Not very noticeable location but the food is worth the taste. Out of all the Thai Restaurants in the GTA I've been to, this place is the only one that knows how to make Papaya Salad. They make your authentic tasteful Thai Cuisine. Offering you dine in, take out or delivery.

Hands down, great place for Thai Food. It was delicious and fresh. However, my buddy & I went for dine-in. There were lot of fruit flies in the restaurant. We couldn't have proper conversation as constantly we were disrupted by fruit flies. Overall, I guess for take-out one of the best options, not for dine-in. Cheers!
