I brought my family and 25 guests to this ice cream shop and was absolutely shocked at the terrible service. The staff member was unbelievably rude — refusing to let us try more than two flavors, even though we were placing an order for 25 cups. To make matters worse, when I politely asked for a glass of tap water, she flat out denied it and told me to buy water instead. For a business that should value large groups and repeat customers, this level of arrogance and lack of basic customer service is unacceptable. I will never be returning, and I strongly advise others to spend their money elsewhere.

I visited many times to lingan cream house to buy food, never buy the ice cream.last night I tried to taste ice cream, the price is very high like $8.50 for small cup, i could buy 2 litter of kawathara ice cream for $7:00 much cheaper than lingan cream house special ice cream, there is nothing speacial only the name from jaffna. I never get the receipt for purchase, very poor customer service.
Absolutely outstanding vegetarian Kothu Roti — easily one of the best we've ever had! The use of unique ingredients like chickpeas added an unexpected and delicious twist, giving it a serious wow factor. We were thrilled that they didn’t fall back on the usual soy meat or eggplant — this version felt fresh, creative, and deeply satisfying. We’ll definitely be coming back just for this veggie Kothu Roti alone!

The ice cream from Lingan is a must if you visit Scarborough. The ice cream is creamy and is perfectly paired with nuts, jelly, and a crunchy biscuit. It's definitely unique compared to regular ice cream that we normally consume from supermarkets. However, the long is relatively long, depending on the period, making the experience a bit of hassle.
