I visited Lingan Cream House in Scarborough to try their falooda, but what I received was nothing like a real falooda. They don’t have a menu, so there’s no way to know what you’re actually ordering. What they advertise and what they serve are completely different.
The drink was watery, unappetizing, and had artificial jellies added without even asking if I wanted them. It looked so bad that I couldn’t even take a sip. To make things worse, they refused to cancel the order or make any adjustments.
This place is misleading, and the quality is awful. Definitely not worth the money. If you’re looking for a proper falooda, I would not recommend this spot.

Last Saturday, I took my two sisters to Lingan Cream House for some ice cream and snacks. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. All five girls working in the serving area looked upset and unpleasant, and the woman at the cashier, who seemed to be the manager, was shouting like she had lost control. There were only a few people in line, yet the atmosphere was tense and stressful.
When we visit places like McDonald's or Tim Hortons, the staff are usually friendly and welcoming. But at Lingan Cream House, you can really feel their anger, stress, and frustration. It's unfortunate that they don't recognize how unprofessional and uncivilized this kind of behavior is.
This isn't the first time I've had such an experience there, and I've finally decided—I will no longer be a customer of this place

Very rude and unprofessional customer service. I must give zero star. But, there is no option to select zero star. I visited the store yesterday and filed a complaint. I felt like whoever picked up the phone, she don’t want to transfer the call to Manager/Owner even after I requested several times. She also told me that she don’t want to reveal her name and Manager/Owner will be call me back. But I never get a call until now.

Lingan Cream house is a great takeaway place for ice creams and Sri Lankan fast food. They have a variety of ice creams which come with nuts, jelly & fruits. Reasonably priced with good service. Only takeaway is available and no dine in. Hot foods are also available that include Hoopers, Appams, noodles, Kothu roti, vadai etc. Would definitely recommend for the price & experience!
