The chicken spring rolls with the pickled carrot is delicious. The chicken corn soup can vary in clumpiness but always delicious. The fried rice is a do not buy. Both rice and meat are more than a day old and hard...just reheated. The staff are friendly but not open to feedback. The TVs are way too loud.

Tasty food with lots of varieties and in a great price

For five years, I have been buying food from this place. However, this past year, the quality has become terrible, and the food has an odd, spoiled taste. I recently spent $35 on a meal, and for that price, it should taste as good as it once did. I will not be returning.I am very disappointed and scared for my health 😔

I’ve been going to Lucky Chinese Restaurant for over 10 years now, and it has always been one of my favorite places. Beyond the great food, what makes it truly special is the kindness and warmth of the lady who runs it. She treats customers like family. I’ll never forget one winter during a snowstorm — when we walked in, she offered us hot chocolate to warm up. That simple act of kindness has stayed with me ever since.

Their food is consistently delicious and comforting. I especially love the Hakka noodles, veg Manchurian balls, fried rice, and of course the fortune cookies at the end. The flavors are always spot on, the portions generous, and the quality never disappoints.

For me, Lucky Chinese isn’t just about the food — it’s about the memories, kindness, and the sense of being welcomed every single time. I truly love going there and would recommend it to anyone looking for tasty food and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

1st & last time.. lol charging $ for cutlery 👎🤷🏻‍♂️ … look around your the only one restaurant charging for cutlery…. & i never disrespect anyone…. Your google ratings says it’s all .. thank god you guys don’t charge extra while ordering for takeout for containers. Grow up being a stingy like this for merely .25-.50 cents.. you lost the customer for ever.

I ordered a special spicy chicken, it was like rubber. I think I got served a bad batch.

I ordered a chilli beef and noodles last night and when I got home the chilli beef was full of water and onions no beef at all ! So I called their store and told them what happened and told me to send the picture which I did and no response from them ! So today my wife took the chilli beef to the store and they are insisting that it comes like that and we ate all the beef which is not true ! I have been a loyal customer with you guys for the last 15 years and today u lost one of your customer ! This place used to be good but they have new manager which don’t know how to treat their customer and trust me we were not their for a free food we were their to show you that do not serve this kind of garbage food to any one !! And I run a food business too but not like you guys !! Shame on lucky Chinese food and everyone needs to boycott this garbage restaurant!! I reported this to Toronto health department too ! So expect them to be there anytime !

We went yesterday around 5pm and it was our first time. The 2 waitress were very rude and kept rolling their eyes. We asked for the specials and she said everything's special and she left while we were asking the 2bd question. Pathetic racist service

I went to pick up for uber eats there was a lady who talked to me rudely even after confirming the pick up . She wants me to complete the delivery at the spot .
She was wearing a glass standing beside the counter .

Hi Guys - I just want to tell you the power of reviews. I use to be a regular customer but got food poisoning about a year ago. I was willing to give it another shot today because I wanted Hakka, but unfortunately the reviews turned me away, since others had similar experience. Sorry! Don't use old meat! Come on!

Recommended by a fellow foodie on the taste of their Chili Chicken . Their Chili Chicken is very good . And the garlic shrimp is tasty and fresh . I will go back to try more dishes . A friend mentioned this lucky was here in Scarborough before the one at midland and Lawrence .

When there were no Hakka restaurants in GTA, this was amongst the very few that we visited almost three decades ago. While in the area we decided to stop by with family to see how it now stands up to 100s new Hakka restaurants. The owners have changed for sure since then.

The inside is still the same as I remember with new table and chairs. Still clean and tidy. The service is still good. The owner/manager gives to personal service and answered all of our ingredient questions.

Our taste buds have evolved and the competitors are feeding us dishes that are more amplified than the ones we got here. Our favourite Manchurian Pakorra in gravy was OK. Not bad, but the pakoras were to big and just doughy. The gravy again OK. The Tofu Chilli not hugely spicy and felt under seasoned to us. The Fried Rice was again very plain. Noodles were OK and the same goes for Szechuan Mixed Veggies. Felt as if we are eating at a traditional Chinese restaurant rather than Indian style Hakka restaurant.

Fast service, great food, the portions are big. I got ginger beef, sweet&sour chicken pieces, honey garlic chicken and mixed chow mein.
